These Tcons offer support for various GPU-specific technologies, including Intel IDT, AMD Freesync Premium Pro, and Nvidia G-Sync. Parade Technologies announces the PS8833 USB4/TBT4 retimer is now shipping in AI PCs powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors. The PS8833 is optimized for AMD's new AI-enhanced processor platform and complies with USB4 specifications up to 40Gbps and Thunderbolt 4 up to 41.25Gbps. It supports USB4 tunneling of DP 1.4a and USB 3.2, as well as DP 2.1 alt mode up to UHBR20.
The company also offers PS8419/PS8219/PS8210 HDMI 2.1 retimer/redrivers and the PS8811 USB3.2 Gen 2 retimer for enhanced connectivity in AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processor platforms. These solutions aim to reduce development time and cost for OEMs creating AI PCs.
