Adyton Resources (ADYRF) expanded the Kabang gold-copper corridor to 2.2 km at its wholly owned Feni project in Papua New Guinea. Step-out holes intersected interpreted structures and hydrothermal breccias at both ends, but assays remain pending. The corridor exceeds three times the approximately 650 m drilled for the 2021 resource.

FDD033 returned 109 m grading 0.25 g/t gold and 0.18% copper from 293 m, including 20 m at 0.42% copper from 326 m. Three other newly reported holes returned no significant intercepts. Adyton interprets deeper copper mineralization as evidence supporting potential for a porphyry system. Phase 1 drilling is expected to finish in mid-to-late November; a resource update is planned for 2027. The 5 km by 5 km electrical survey is approximately 30% complete, with completion expected around end-January 2027. Phase 2 drilling is planned after assay, survey and metallurgical results are available and targets ranked.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Brisbane, Australia--(Newsfile Corp. - October 23, 2026) - Adyton Resources Corporation (TSXV: ADY) (OTCQB: ADYRF) (FSE: 701) (PNGX: ADY) ("Adyton" or the "Company") provides an exploration update on its 100%-owned Feni Island Gold-Copper Project on the productive Lihir Trend, Papua New Guinea (PNG), ahead of an analyst and investor site visit on 24 October 2026. Kabang hosts an Inferred Mineral Resource of 60.4 Mt at 0.75 g/t Au for 1.46 Moz Au (NI 43-101, effective 14 October 2021).

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Kabang gold-copper corridor expanded to 2.2 km, with both ends mineralized and open for further growth - Step-out holes FDD048 to FDD053 intersected interpreted Kabang structures and hydrothermal breccias at both the south-west and north-east ends of the corridor. Holes FDD050 and FDD051 are approximately 1.6 km apart, extending the corridor to more than three times the approximately 650 m of strike drilled for the 2021 Mineral Resource (Figure 3). Assays for these expansionary holes are pending; Copper mineralization strengthens at depth, highlighting potential for a substantial porphyry system. Hole FDD033 intersected 109 m @ 0.25 g/t Au, 0.18% Cu (0.50 g/t AuEq) from 293 m, including 20 m @ 0.22 g/t Au, 0.42% Cu (0.84 g/t AuEq) from 326 m. The interval lies beneath 70 m @ 0.53 g/t Au from 170 m, on the same section as previously reported hole FDD004 which intersected 70.2 m grading 0.21% Cu from 383 m. The increasing copper grades at depth, alongside continued gold mineralization, support ongoing evaluation of the systems porphyry potential.

  • Final Phase 1 holes target corridor expansion and metallurgical readiness - both drill rigs are preparing to complete the final two holes of the current Phase 1 program. Hole FDD054 is positioned in the north-east between FDD051 and FDD052 to further investigate the corridor, while FDD055 will twin FDD026 to obtain core for metallurgical test work and support the planned 2027 Mineral Resource Estimate update.

  • Growing evidence of a Porphyry copper-gold system including documented bornite- Hole FDD033 intersected potassic-altered quartz diorite containing chalcopyrite and bornite between 392 m and 400 m, adding to the evidence for porphyry-style mineralization at Kabang. At Danmagal, porphyry-style intrusives have been mapped at surface above a magnetic body modelled from approximately 440 m depth, located 1.1 km west-south-west of FDD026. Assays are pending.

  • Multiple untested targets offer further discovery potential across Anir Island - Historical data have identified Kabang-style mineralization and alteration signatures at Dome-Saddle and south-east of Lacey, two targets that have yet to be drill-tested. These prospects form part of a growing pipeline of 12 known targets and 26 geophysical targets identified to date at Feni, with further target definition expected from the ongoing induced polarization (IP) survey (Figures 7 to 9).

  • District scale IP survey advancing to refine the next phase of exploration. - The detailed 5 km by 5 km IP survey is approximately 30% complete, with completion expected around the end of January 2027. Results will help refine and prioritize targets for the next phase of drilling across the Feni project.

(Phase 1 drilling expected to conclude in mid-to-late November, with assays and target development continuing through the planned pause -
The 2026 Phase 1 program is scheduled to conclude with hole FDD055 in mid-to-late November. Adyton is working with the laboratory to prioritize assays from all Phase 1 holes, while IP surveying, geological mapping and metallurgical work continue. Phase 2 drilling is planned to resume once Phase 1 assays, IP results and metallurgical results are available and targets have been ranked, allowing the next program to focus on the highest-priority opportunities.

"With our analyst site visit scheduled for 24 October 2026, we believe it is important to provide investors with a broader update on the scale and growing potential of the Feni Project," said Adyton's COO & Chief Geologist, Dr. Chris Bowden. "We are particularly encouraged by step-out holes, FDD048 to FDD053, which have intersected the interpreted Kabang structures and the hydrothermal breccias at both ends of the 2.2 km mineralized corridor, which now extends to more than three times the strike length drilled for the 2021 Mineral Resource Estimate. In addition, FDD033 confirms copper mineralization strengthening at depth beneath the Kabang gold system, adding to the evidence supporting the potential for a larger porphyry copper-gold system. With corridor extensions now drilled, the IP survey advancing and multiple untested targets across Anir Island, we look forward to showing the geology and broader exploration potential to analysts and investors on 24 October."

NEW ASSAY RESULTS FROM DRILLING - DRILLHOLES FDD030 to FDD033

Assays have been received for four more holes (Table 1). Hole FDD033 was drilled towards the north on the same north-south section as FDD004, which was drilled towards the south. Gold dominates the upper part of the hole, and copper increases below about 290 m where the two holes converge (Figure 2). FDD033 intersected 70 m @ 0.53 g/t Au from 170 m, then 109 m @ 0.50 g/t AuEq (0.18% Cu) from 293 m. Copper is strongest from 326 m to 346 m (20 m @ 0.42% Cu), and a potassic-altered quartz diorite (K-feldspar-magnetite alteration), chalcopyrite and bornite from 392 m to 400 m lies within 13 m @ 0.23% Cu from 389 m. Holes FDD030-FDD032 tested peripheral zones of the central Kabang resource and returned no significant intercepts, helping to define the limits of mineralisation (Table 1).

  1. Interval lengths are "apparent" thicknesses downhole, subject to true thickness determination.
  2. FDD032 was abandoned at 117.8 m due to drilling conditions.
  3. Gold equivalent (AuEq) = ((Au g/t × 0.93) + (Cu% × 1.71 × 0.90)), based on metal prices of US$2,000/oz Au and US$5/lb Cu, and recoveries of 93% Au and 90% Cu. Recovery assumptions are speculative as no metallurgical test work has been completed at Feni but are based on comparable deposits.
  4. ADK series drilling (2021) reported previously to TSX.V. AuEq recalculated.

EXPANSIONARY STEP-OUT DRILLING EXTENDS BOTH ENDS OF THE CORRIDOR

Since February 2025, 20,460 m have been drilled at Kabang in holes FDD001 to FDD053. The two rigs are now setting up on the final two drillholes of the current Phase 1 program, FDD054 (in the north-east between FDD051 and FDD052) and FDD055 (a metallurgical hole twinning FDD026). Assays are now reported to FDD033. Results for later holes will be released as they are received; Adyton is working with the laboratory to prioritise assays for all Phase 1 holes.

Step-out holes FDD048 to FDD053 test both ends of the ~2.2 km LA-002 to CCR-009 corridor (Figures 1 and 3). FDD050, near the south-west end, and FDD051, near the north-east end, are about 1.6 km apart. The completed step-out holes all intersect the interpreted NE-SW trending Kabang structures, with hydrothermal breccias and alteration in the same style as Kabang (Table 2), including both epithermal and porphyry signatures. FDD052 (north-east) and FDD053 (south-west) were completed at 622.1 m and 312.3 m respectively, both ending in hydrothermal breccia: FDD052 logged hydrothermal breccia with potassic alteration overprinted by phyllic alteration, magnetite and chalcopyrite over the last 230.5 m of the hole, from 391.6 m, and FDD053 logged hydrothermal breccia over the last 181.3 m, from 131 m (Figures 12 and 13). Assays are pending; see the note on visual observations below.

EMERGING COPPER PICTURE VECTORING TO THE PORPHYRY SOURCE

Drilling has documented gold in the upper parts of the Kabang system and copper strengthening with depth. Examples of the increased Cu to depth include: i) Hole FDD004 (70.2 m @ 0.21% Cu from 383 m to the end of the hole, leaving copper open at depth); ii) FDD033 (above); iii) ADK004 (including 6.4 m @ 5.07% Cu from 149.7 m), and; iv) FDD017 (including 5 m @ 1.48% Cu from 198 m). At the north-east end of the corridor, historic RC hole CCR-009 yielded 18 m @ 0.85 g/t Au, 0.43% Cu from 100 m.

Elevated molybdenum on the southern flank (up to 1,205 ppm Mo in holes FDD019 and FDD021), together with potassic alteration and intrusive rocks logged at depth, points to a porphyry system beneath the epithermal gold mineralization. Adyton interprets Kabang as a low- to intermediate-sulphidation epithermal gold-(silver-copper) system overprinting an earlier porphyry copper-(gold)-molybdenum system, with the best gold grades where the two overlap. Downhole spectral data (illite crystallinity) and multi-element porphyry indices increase toward the south and south-west.

Gold falls away with depth while copper holds: across all Adyton holes released to FDD033, the ratio of mean copper to mean gold rises about six-fold from surface to 400-500 m vertical depth (Figure 4). In FDD033, a potassic quartz diorite with chalcopyrite and bornite from 392 m to 400 m is the strongest porphyry-style feature logged to date.

At Danmagal, 1.1 km west-south-west of FDD026, 3D magnetic vector inversion (MVI) of the 2024 drone magnetic survey models a magnetic body from about 440 m below surface (−260 m RL), open below the base of the model (Figure 5). Mapping in 2024 recorded porphyry-style intrusives with magnetite-biotite alteration, and diatreme breccia, at surface above it. The porphyry source has not been drill-tested; the IP survey covers Danmagal.

ISLAND-SCALE TARGETS AND IP SURVEY PROGRESS

Zones where hydrothermal fluids have destroyed magnetite (demagnetised zones) mark pathways where those fluids moved through Anir Island. At Dome-Saddle and SE of Lacey, these zones coincide with gold-arsenic-antimony anomalies in historic soils, the same signature as at Kabang (Figure 7). These overlapping anomalies have not been comprehensively drill-tested in either area, and mapping of both is planned through 3Q 2027. The detailed IP survey results will be key to highlight and rank targets.

Adyton's target pipeline at Feni comprises four advanced drill targets around Kabang (Kabang, Kabang NE to CCR-009, Kabang SW to LA-002 and deep Kabang copper), 12 known targets including Dome-Saddle, SE of Lacey and Danmagal, and 26 geophysical targets from drone and historic magnetic data (nine high, 11 medium and six low priority) (Figures 8 and 9). The IP survey is expected to refine these targets and generate new ones.

The 5 km × 5 km ground IP survey (combined 2D in-line and offset 3D pole-dipole) had acquired arrays 01 to 08, about 30% of the survey area, by 11 October. Northern arrays are scheduled to finish by the end of November, and southern arrays from December to about the end of January 2027. No IP results are available yet. IP will be combined with mapping, geochemistry, spectral, magnetic and drill data to rank a combination of Kabang extensional targets, Kabang repeat targets and porphyry targets in 2Q 2027 (Figure 10).

QUALITY ASSURANCE / QUALITY CONTROL

Adyton adheres to industry-recognised standards of best practice and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC). Drill core samples were submitted in batches to Intertek Laboratory in Lae, which include field blanks, certified reference materials (CRMs) and staged duplicates. Samples were sealed ensuring chain of custody. To date, all batches passed QA/QC. All drill holes were drilled and sampled predominantly from PQ and HQ diameter drill core, and to a lesser extent NQ core. Core recovery is considered to be appropriate.

Visual observations

Mineral and alteration descriptions for holes without assays are from visual logging. Visual observations are not a substitute for laboratory analysis, do not indicate grade and should not be relied on until assays are reported.

Nearby deposits

References to Lihir and Simberi are for geological context only. Mineralisation at those deposits is not necessarily indicative of mineralisation at Feni.

FAQ

AI-generated questions and answers. How Rhea-AI works. Not financial advice.

How far has Adyton expanded the Kabang gold-copper corridor?

The Kabang corridor now extends 2.2 km, more than three times the approximately 650 m of strike drilled for the 2021 resource. Step-out holes FDD048–FDD053 intersected interpreted Kabang structures and hydrothermal breccias at both ends; assays are pending.

What gold and copper results did Adyton report from FDD033?

FDD033 returned 109 m at 0.25 g/t gold and 0.18% copper from 293 m, including 20 m at 0.22 g/t gold and 0.42% copper from 326 m. Above that interval, it returned 70 m at 0.53 g/t gold from 170 m.

What assumptions underpin Adyton’s Feni gold-equivalent grades?

Gold-equivalent grades use metal prices of US$2,000/oz gold and US$5/lb copper, with assumed recoveries of 93% gold and 90% copper. The recovery assumptions are speculative because no metallurgical test work has been completed at Feni; they are based on comparable deposits.

Has Adyton drill-tested the Danmagal porphyry target at Feni?

The Danmagal porphyry source has not been drill-tested. Magnetic modelling identifies a body from about 440 m below surface, beneath mapped porphyry-style intrusive rocks. Danmagal lies 1.1 km west-south-west of FDD026 and is covered by the ongoing electrical survey.
