Eviden (Atos Group) announces 5 new entries in the TOP500, including EuroHPC MareNostrum5 as the 8th most powerful system in the world. This significant improvement brings the total to 48 systems in the TOP500, with 11 in the TOP100 and 2 in the TOP10. The new entries include new partitions on two EuroHPC programs, Leonardo hosted by Cineca and MareNostrum5 hosted by the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, along with new partitions from the ECMWF program. The MareNostrum5 system ranks 8th in the TOP500, with a sustained peak performance of 138 petaflops for the booster partition, based on Eviden's BullSequana XH3000 next-gen hybrid architecture. Eviden has also been awarded the reader's choice from HPCwire as 'The Top Supercomputing Achievement' for the MareNostrum5 supercomputer. It leverages Eviden's Managed Detection & Response (MDR) service and AWS services to enhance cyber resilience and automate responses. The solution is part of AWS' Strategic Partner Security Initiative.
