AAR becomes Eaton's authorized EMEA service center for hydraulic pump repairs, expanding local OEM-backed MRO capacity.

AAR will perform local repair and overhaul of Eaton hydraulic components for large commercial aircraft at its Amsterdam Component Services facility, under an agreement announced on October 15, 2025. The arrangement guarantees use of official repair documentation and OEM spare parts, which preserves parts traceability and technical conformity while enabling Eaton customers in EMEA to access a third-party MRO option that uses factory parts.

Key dependencies and risks include the scope of covered components (initially hydraulic pumps) and the speed of portfolio expansion. The deal's operational success depends on sustained access to Eaton OEM parts and adherence to Eaton repair documentation, plus effective capacity and turnaround at the Amsterdam site. Any limitations in parts supply or procedural alignment would constrain service adoption.

Concrete items to watch: whether the agreement is extended beyond hydraulic pumps to additional products, and whether AAR expands the authorized footprint outside EMEA as stated; both are explicit follow-ups in the announcement. Expect near-term impact on service availability for Eaton commercial customers in EMEA and a medium-term effect on AAR's Component Services revenue mix if the partnership broadens.

WOOD DALE, Ill., Oct. 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- AAR CORP. (NYSE: AIR), a leading provider of aviation services to commercial and government operators, MROs, and OEMs, and Eaton today signed an agreement for AAR to become an authorized service center for Eaton's commercial aerospace customers across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).

Under the agreement, AAR will provide local repair and overhaul of Eaton's hydraulic components for large commercial aircraft. The services will be performed at AAR's Component Services facility in Amsterdam.

This service agreement strengthens the repair capabilities for Eaton's hydraulic products by ensuring the use of official repair documentation and maintaining consistency through OEM spare parts via a new authorized service center.

"Our strategic agreement with AAR demonstrates our commitment to improving customer satisfaction by offering airlines expanded options for hydraulic pump repairs and extends our collaboration beyond spare parts distribution," said Matt Norman, vice president, Aftermarket and Commercial Services for Eaton's Aerospace Group.

AAR will initially concentrate on hydraulic pump repairs for commercial customers in EMEA, with plans to broaden its portfolio to additional products and regions in the future.

"AAR is pleased to become an authorized service center in EMEA, combining our quality service with Eaton's strong aftermarket support. Our highly competitive offering using Eaton parts is well matched to the current market landscape," said Jim Berberet, AAR's Senior Vice President of Component Services. "This is an exciting approach for customers who desire quality and durability in a third-party MRO alternative."
