Fueled by a strong U.S. Thanksgiving holiday weekend, AMC recorded its highest Monday through Sunday weekly attendance in 2025 in the U.S. and globally, November 24-30

During that same time frame, more than 5.5 million people visited AMC in the U.S. and more than 1.3 million attended an ODEON Cinemas location internationally

In the U.S., AMC scored its busiest Wednesday and busiest Friday of 2025, based on attendance

LEAWOOD, Kan.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Moviegoers were drawn to the magic of the big screen at AMC Theatres (NYSE:AMC) throughout the Thanksgiving holiday week and weekend, as AMC welcomed its highest-attended week of 2025, Monday through Sunday, both in the U.S. and globally.

Driven primarily by the strong appeal of family-friendly hits such as ZOOTOPIA 2 and WICKED: FOR GOOD, more than 6.9 million moviegoers visited an AMC or ODEON theatre from Monday, November 24 through Sunday, November 30. This includes 5.5 million moviegoers at AMC’s U.S. theatres during the same period, reaffirming the theatrical moviegoing experience as a high priority among family holiday traditions.

In the United States, AMC set new 2025 attendance marks, posting its busiest Wednesday and its busiest Friday of the year based on admissions.
