Recent Company History

Over the last few months, authID has combined product innovation, financing, and corporate updates. On April 24, 2026, it launched a quantum‑resistant biometric platform, followed by a $4.0M bridge financing announced on April 29, 2026. Early May brought board changes and an 8‑K on a $3.765M debenture financing. Q1 2026 results on May 14, 2026 showed higher revenue but ongoing losses. A strategic OEM partnership on May 28, 2026 extended its ecosystem. The current annual meeting notice fits into this pattern of steady corporate housekeeping alongside product and financing moves.

proxy statement regulatory
"The Notice of Meeting and further information can be found in the 2026 Proxy Statement filed today"
A proxy statement is a document companies send to shareholders ahead of a meeting that lays out the items up for a vote—like who will sit on the board, executive pay, and major corporate decisions—and provides background so shareholders can decide how to cast their votes or appoint someone to vote for them. Think of it as an agenda plus a ballot and briefing notes, important because the outcomes can change control, strategy, and value.

"approve and ratify the adoption of the 2026 Equity Incentive Plan"
An equity incentive plan is a program that gives employees, executives or directors the right to receive company stock or options to buy stock as part of their pay. Think of it as offering slices of future company profit to motivate people to boost long‑term performance; for investors it matters because it can align employee goals with shareholder value but also increases the number of shares outstanding, which can dilute existing ownership.
