American Water Declares Quarterly Dividend

Cash dividend payable in the third quarter of 2022

CAMDEN, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- American Water Works Company, Inc. (NYSE: AWK) announced today that its board of directors declared a quarterly cash dividend payment of $0.6550, per share of common stock. The dividend amount is unchanged from the second quarter dividend. The dividend will be payable on September 1, 2022, to all shareholders of record as of August 9, 2022.

This year’s increase extended American Water’s record of increasing annual dividends paid to 14 consecutive years.
