Bombardier (OTC:BDRBF) announced on Oct 15, 2025 that Sojitz Corporation has ordered two aircraft: a Global 6500 and a Global 8000. The jets will form the basis of Sojitz’s Share Jet Program (SJP), described as Japan’s first large, ultra-long-range shared-ownership program capable of trans-Pacific operations.

The Global 8000 is slated to enter service before the end of 2025 and is described as the world’s fastest business jet with the longest range among four-zone aircraft and industry-leading landing capabilities. Bombardier says bespoke interiors and cabin comfort are central to the order, and the deal builds Bombardier’s presence in Japan and Asia.

Bombardier (OTC:BDRBF) disclosed that BOND is the buyer behind its previously announced 50-aircraft firm order and long-term service agreement valued at US$1.7 billion, unveiled Oct 14, 2025 at NBAA.

The order covers Challenger and Global models with deliveries beginning in 2027, and includes 70 purchase options that, if all exercised, would raise the combined aircraft-and-service value to more than US$4 billion. The deal features an exclusive manufacturer selection and a comprehensive global service package.

Bombardier Defense (BDRBF) and SNC signed a 10-year service agreement dated Oct. 14, 2025 to support two Bombardier Global 6500 aircraft equipped with SNC’s RAPCON-X technology. The contract covers logistical support under Bombardier Smart Services Defense, including spare parts, shipping, technical publications, and 24/7 Customer Response Centre access, with predetermined cost coverage under a cost-per-flight-hour model. SNC will operate the two COCO aircraft for a U.S. military customer. RAPCON-X is configurable for SIGINT, EO reconnaissance and ground moving-target signatures and uses SNC TRAX software for battlefield connectivity.

Bombardier (BDRBF) announced on October 13, 2025 that the Global 8000 business jet achieved a new top speed of Mach 0.95, described as the highest speed in civil aviation and the fastest business jet in history. The ultra-long-range Global 8000 retains a range of 8,000 NM, class-leading runway performance, and a cabin with four living spaces plus a separate crew rest area. The first production Global 8000 completed an inaugural flight in May and is finishing interior completions while final type certification activities continue as the program progresses toward entry into service in 2025.

Bombardier (BDRBF) announced that Comlux placed a firm order for one Global 8000 and confirmed delivery for 2026. The Global 8000 is described as the world’s fastest purpose-built business jet with a range of 8,000 nautical miles, intended to expand Comlux’s ultra-long-range charter capabilities and sit between its wide-body fleet and Global 6500 operations. Executives from both companies highlighted the aircraft’s performance, passenger experience, and fit for premium global travel.

Bombardier (BDRBF) will exhibit at NBAA-BACE 2025 in Las Vegas from October 14–16, 2025, displaying three jets on static display: the Global 7500, Global 6500, and Challenger 3500. The company will also highlight its service offerings and invite media to two events: a media briefing on October 13 at 11:00 a.m. PT and a special unveiling at Henderson Executive Airport on October 14 at 2:00 p.m. PT. Bombardier (BDRBF) delivered the first Challenger 3500 to AB Jets on Oct. 9, 2025, the first of three Challenger 3500 super mid-size aircraft the charter operator will add to its fleet.

The new jet complements AB Jets’ nine Learjet 60 aircraft, offering extended range, an elevated cabin with Bombardier’s Nuage seat, voice-control cabin management, 4K entertainment, wireless chargers and a bring-your-own-device philosophy. Bombardier and AB Jets executives emphasized improved customer options, comfort, reliability and expanded charter destinations for the Memphis-based operator.

Bombardier (OTC: BDRBF) will open a new 64,500 sq. ft. service centre at Fort Wayne International Airport, Indiana, with operations expected to start in second half of 2026. The facility will offer scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, modifications, avionics installations, AOG support and hangar space for up to six aircraft. Bombardier said the centre expands its Midwestern U.S. footprint, complements existing U.S. heavy maintenance sites and the Chicago parts hub, and supports the upcoming Global 8000 entry into service. The project is expected to add approximately 100 jobs over the next few years and was announced in coordination with Indiana and Fort Wayne regional leaders.

Bombardier (OTC:BDRBF) announced it redeemed all outstanding US$166,289,000 aggregate principal of its 7.125% Senior Notes due 2026 and redeemed US$83,711,000 aggregate principal of its 7.875% Senior Notes due 2027, with each redemption effective October 4, 2025. The redemptions were processed through the Depository Trust Company in accordance with published notices dated September 4, 2025.
