  • ProCap Financial repurchased an additional 2.2% of its common stock outstanding at an approximate 22% discount to Net Asset Value, bringing total repurchases to approximately 12.2% of shares outstanding since the program began
  • Company will continue to buy back shares so long as they trade at a discount to Net Asset Value

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- ProCap Financial, Inc. (Nasdaq: BRR), the first publicly traded agentic finance firm, today announced that since September 3, 2026 it repurchased an additional 2.2% of shares of its common stock at an approximate 22% discount to Net Asset Value (“NAV”). The Company funded the repurchases by selling approximately 50 Bitcoin. Since the start of its share buyback program, approximately 12.2% of shares outstanding have been repurchased.

The discount to NAV has narrowed meaningfully. ProCap Financial believes the narrowing reflects the accretive nature of the program itself – every repurchase increases the amount of Bitcoin backing each remaining share. The Company’s NAV calculation reflects its Bitcoin holdings and other net assets and ascribes zero value to its successful agentic finance business. Any value attributable to those products is incremental to the NAV figures referenced in this release.

As of market close September 15, 2026, the number of outstanding shares was 84,937,392, the number of Bitcoin held was approximately 5,254 and the NAV per share was approximately $3.62.

net asset value financial
Net asset value is the total value of an investment fund's assets minus any liabilities, divided by the number of shares or units outstanding. It represents the per-share worth of the fund, similar to how the value of a house is determined by its total worth after debts are subtracted. Investors use it to gauge the true value of their holdings and to compare different investment options.
