Key Terms

total contract value financial
Total contract value is the full dollar amount a company expects to receive from a customer under a contract over its entire life, including recurring charges, one-time fees and any guaranteed add‑ons. Investors use it like a deal’s headline price to gauge the size of future revenue tied to sales, but it can overstate near‑term cash because it bundles multi‑year payments into one number—think of it as the sticker price on a multi‑year subscription.
annualized recurring revenue financial
Annualized recurring revenue is the predictable income a business expects to earn over a year from ongoing customer subscriptions or contracts. It’s similar to estimating how much money you would make in a year if your current monthly income stayed the same. Investors use this figure to assess the stability and growth potential of a company's revenue stream.
net cash flow margin financial
Net cash flow margin is the percentage of a company’s sales that is converted into actual cash from its operations, typically calculated by dividing net cash provided by operating activities by total revenue and expressing the result as a percent. It matters to investors because it shows how much real cash a business generates from its sales—like how much money you actually put in your pocket from each dollar you earn—helping assess liquidity, sustainability of operations, and the quality of reported earnings.
business combination regulatory
A business combination happens when two or more companies join together to operate as one, like two friends merging their teams into a single group. This is important because it can change how companies grow, compete, and make money, often making them bigger and more powerful in the market.
finance lease agreements financial
A finance lease agreement is a long-term rental contract in which a company uses an asset and assumes most of the benefits and risks of ownership while the legal title usually stays with the lessor. Like leasing a car for years where you pay, maintain, and effectively treat it as yours, the lease is recorded on the balance sheet as both an asset and a liability, so it changes reported debt, depreciation, and cash-flow metrics investors watch.

"This is our first earnings call as a public company, and over the past quarter, we have added over $1 billion in contracts signed," said Andrew Karos, Founder & Chief Executive Officer of Boost Run. "Currently our TCV stands at $1.9 billion. Demand is not our constraint. Everything we sold this quarter was contracted before the hardware was energized, and the pipeline behind it is larger than anything we have seen in the history of this company."

"Our second quarter results reflect the aggressive scaling of our infrastructure and while impacted by the unique accounting dynamics of closing our 'go-public' transaction, when adjusting for these transaction-related and non-cash items, you can clearly see the underlying operating leverage in our model,” said Erik Guckel, Chief Financial Officer of Boost Run. “Our balance sheet is strong. We ended the quarter with $120.2 million in unrestricted cash, bolstered by $114.1 million in net proceeds from the business combination."
