distribution coverage financial
The share of potential sales channels, stores, or geographic markets where a company’s product is actually available to customers. It’s often expressed as a percentage of all possible outlets or markets and shows how widely a product has been rolled out—like counting how many cafes in a city sell a particular brand of coffee versus how many exist. For investors, it signals how much room there is to grow sales from expanding availability and how dependent current revenue is on distribution reach.
