Bowman (NASDAQ:BWMN) acquired Houston-based RPT Alliance to expand its power & utilities practice into natural gas transmission and utility-scale power generation for data centers and industrial facilities.

The $59.7 million transaction was financed with cash and a seller note. Bowman projects RPT will contribute approximately $22–24 million in annualized net service billing in 2026 and expects the acquisition to be accretive to earnings. Management said the deal modestly increases leverage but remains within its comfort zone and supports margin expansion and recurring revenue growth.

Bowman (NASDAQ: BWMN) was awarded a $3.7 million contract to design ADA-compliant curb ramps at 1,200 corners across the City of Philadelphia on Dec. 2, 2025. This is Bowman’s sixth consecutive ADA design award in Philadelphia and its largest ADA design contract to date in Pennsylvania.

Bowman will provide full-scope design services, property owner coordination and final design certification to PennDOT and City standards. The firm’s total Philadelphia ramp design scope now surpasses 3,000 curb locations, representing more than one-third of the city’s 10,000-ramp goal as the city aims for full installation by 2038. Management said the award strengthens near-term backlog and recurring revenue streams.

Bowman (NASDAQ: BWMN) was awarded a $7 million multi-year contract by Seattle Public Utilities to lead design of a culvert replacement and habitat restoration project in West Seattle's Fauntleroy Creek watershed.

The program covers full lifecycle design work—civil/structural engineering, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, habitat restoration design, permitting and landscape architecture—with design starting in 2025 and construction expected to complete by 2031. Bowman will serve as primary design lead for SPU for the first time.

One assignment covers roadway design, traffic signal engineering, landscape architecture and project management for a one-mile, four-lane roadway extension. The second covers site planning, civil engineering, landscape architecture and full construction documentation for a 154-unit residential duplex neighborhood. Work begins immediately. Bowman has served the District since June 2024 and now manages and designs more than $500 million in infrastructure at The Aurora Highlands.

Bowman (NASDAQ: BWMN) acquired the assets of California-based Sierra Overhead Analytics and its technology affiliate ORCaS on Oct 6, 2025, expanding Bowman’s energy practice and digital services portfolio.

The deal brings engineering, precision mapping, hydrology and proprietary design‑automation tools to Bowman’s platform, will be integrated under Bowman’s Office of Innovation, and is intended to be offered exclusively as proprietary, value‑add services to employees and clients.
