Insights

CCIF reports solid quarterly income, maintains monthly common and preferred dividends, and shows high portfolio yields.

Business mechanism: The Fund reported net investment income of $0.15 per common share, adjusted NII of $0.17, and core NII of $0.32 for Q4, and a NAV per common share of $6.13 as of September 30, 2025. The portfolio fair value totaled $192.2 million, with an aggregate weighted average GAAP yield of 14.44% and new CLO investments of $34.9 million at a weighted GAAP yield of 13.65%. The Fund also entered a $30 million credit facility priced at SOFR + 3.25% that can be upsized to $50 million.

Dependencies and risks: Dividend continuity depends on sustaining core net investment income at or above the declared monthly common dividend of $0.1050 through February 2026 and the Series D preferred dividend of $0.1536 for the same months. The credit facility alters funding flexibility but introduces interest-rate linkage to SOFR + 3.25%. Monitor core NII coverage, portfolio yield trajectory, and any changes to leverage or write‑downs over the next reporting cycle.
