CNH Industrial's New Holland celebrates 60 years of production at its Basildon, UK plant with a special edition T7.300 tractor. This milestone highlights the plant's role as an Alternative Fuels Centre of Excellence and global tractor production facility. Originally developed by Ford and later acquired by Fiat, the Basildon plant now produces a tractor every five minutes, exporting 85% of its output. The anniversary edition features a vibrant ‘Swinging ‘60s' design and will be showcased throughout 2024. Recent investments include the production of methane-powered tractors, reinforcing New Holland's commitment to clean energy and innovation.

Neilson has held various leadership roles, contributing significantly to manufacturing, the commercial vehicles division, and the EMEA region, and also served as interim CEO. For the past six years, he has led CNH’s agricultural business, achieving record performance and driving digital innovation.

New Holland, a brand of CNH, showcased its 100% connected tractor line at the 21st edition of Tecnoshow Comigo in Rio Verde, Brazil. The event highlighted the T8 and T9 PLM Intelligence high-power tractors and the CR Intellisense harvester.

The T8 and T9 models feature a remodeled electronic architecture for digital and high-performance agriculture, offering higher productivity with lowered operating costs. PLM Intelligence aids farmers in precision agriculture, optimizing fleet management and agricultural operations through full connectivity.

The CR Intellisense harvester uses AI to allow operators to choose various harvesting strategies, enhancing crop efficiency. The CR line also includes advanced features such as a spacious cabin, LED lighting, onboard telemetry, and a stone detection system.

Case IH, a CNH brand, has launched the Axial-Flow Series 160 Automation harvesters, fully produced in Brazil. With an investment of R$ 100 million, the Sorocaba plant has been upgraded to become the global production hub for these harvesters, which belong to classes 5 to 7.

This new line features significant technological advancements, including a 60% machinery renewal and an advanced Automation System that utilizes AI and machine learning. The system can control 90% of operations, making up to 1,800 daily interventions to optimize performance.

The project involved over 1,300 trained personnel and 90 dedicated professionals, including engineers from Brazil, the US, and Europe. The new harvesters have been tested in various countries, including the US, European nations, and Brazil. Case IH aims to double the production volume at the Sorocaba plant, with 50% of the output expected to be exported to the US, Europe, Asia, and the Pacific regions.

STEYR, a brand of CNH, has won a significant accolade for its new STEYR Plus tractor range.

The STEYR Plus, which debuted at Agritechnica 2023, secured the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in the Product Design category. Competing against global entries, the innovative design of STEYR Plus was selected by an international jury of design experts.

The award ceremony will take place on June 24 at the Red Dot Museum in Essen, Germany. The STEYR Plus will also feature in the Red Dot Design Yearbook and be displayed in upcoming Red Dot Design exhibitions.

The STEYR Plus range consists of five models in the 80-120hp category, which is the largest sales sector in Europe. The tractors integrate advanced features such as S-Guide steering automation and S-Fleet telematics, designed to enhance operational efficiency and safety. The new design aims to uphold STEYR's reputation for high-quality, technologically advanced tractors.

CNH has won the prestigious Red Dot Design Award for its new Axial-Flow combine, a product under the Case IH brand. The award highlights the exceptional design and innovative technology of the next-generation Axial-Flow combine, introduced at Agritechnica 2023 and recently debuted globally in North America. The combine is designed to maximize output per engine hour while minimizing grain losses and damage. The design team will receive the award at the 'Red Dot: Best of the Best' ceremony in Essen, Germany, on June 24. The recognition underscores the product's unique engineering and design excellence.
