Community Health Systems’ 2026 Community Impact Report details its 2025 patient care volume, uncompensated care, economic footprint, safety gains, and workforce support.

The 2026 report includes notable operational and financial highlights* from the previous year.
- Patient Care: Quality healthcare services were provided at more than 12.1 million total patient encounters.

Clinical Excellence: Patient safety initiatives introduced in 2022 have now reduced sepsis mortality by more than
50% and have prevented more than 900 hospital-acquired infections. -
Workforce Support: More than
has been provided to employees in student loan repayments and tuition assistance through the Pathways Program since its launch in 2022.$90 million - Community Initiatives: Numerous volunteer projects and charitable contributions fortify community services, including more than 200,000 jars of peanut butter collected by CHS hospitals for local food banks in 2026 during the annual Jars of Love peanut butter drive.
