Boost Mobile (ECHO) has partnered with Mike Tyson to launch its nationwide “What’s Your Plan?” brand campaign promoting wireless plans.
The campaign highlights pricing and contract options, including a $25-per-month forever plan with no contracts. The initiative includes sponsorship of the Mike Tyson Invitational on October 24, 2026, and future events in 2027, supporting athletes’ travel, education programs and competition infrastructure. Boost Mobile also plans localized community events and is bringing back its 12 Days of Boostmas nationwide customer sweepstakes.
EchoStar (ECHO) announced that DISH is partnering with United Airlines to stream live college and professional football to Starlink-enabled seatback screens for the 2026–2027 season.
The service starts this week on more than 200 Starlink-equipped United mainline aircraft and is expected to reach nearly 700 planes by February 2027. Passengers gain access to nine live sports networks, including ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC, ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, NFL Network, and TNF on Prime Video, delivered through DISH’s OnStream platform.
Sling TV (NASDAQ:ECHO) launched its full “Watch Football on YOUR Terms” college football campaign, featuring nine standout players such as Darian Mensah, LaNorris Sellers and Kevin Jennings in custom video content. The initiative promotes Sling’s flexible viewing options, including short-term passes, monthly plans and a five‑month Football Season Pass.
Boost Mobile (NASDAQ: ECHO) has been named the Official Wireless Communications Sponsor of University of Miami Athletics, launching a fan-focused partnership centered on Hurricanes Football. Starting August 10, 2026, new and existing Boost Mobile customers, including those on the $25 Forever plan, can have a portion of their monthly wireless bill directed to support the Miami Hurricanes Football program.
The initiative lets fans “join the roster” by switching to Boost Mobile or adding a line via BoostMobile.com/canes or retail stores, and includes sweepstakes, game-day activations, and community events across Miami.
EchoStar (NASDAQ: ECHO) reported Q2 2026 total revenue of $3.58 billion, down from $3.72 billion in Q2 2025. Net income attributable to EchoStar was $8.46 billion versus a net loss of $306.13 million a year earlier, primarily due to a non-cash $9.73 billion gain on deconsolidation. Excluding this tax-affected non-cash item, net income attributable to EchoStar would have been approximately $49.46 million, and diluted EPS was $24.12 versus a loss of $1.06.
EchoStar ended Q2 2026 with 6.39 million pay-TV subscribers, 7.38 million wireless subscribers, and 622,000 broadband subscribers, all down sequentially. Consolidated Q2 2026 OIBDA rose to $683.48 million from $279.65 million, while capital expenditures fell to $92.30 million from $746.90 million. Total assets were $39.43 billion and total liabilities $25.22 billion as of June 30, 2026.

AT&T (NYSE:T) has closed its previously announced acquisition of certain wireless spectrum licenses from EchoStar (NASDAQ:ECHO) for approximately $23 billion. The deal adds about 50 MHz of low-band and mid-band spectrum covering virtually every U.S. market, including roughly 30 MHz of nationwide 3.45 GHz mid-band spectrum and about 20 MHz of nationwide 600 MHz low-band spectrum.
According to AT&T, the added spectrum will increase its 5G capacity and download speeds and support an AI-ready connected experience by enhancing uplink capabilities across its wireless network. AT&T also reiterated the financial outlook and capital allocation plan it provided with its second-quarter 2026 earnings release.
DISH DBS Corporation (NASDAQ:ECHO) and certain subsidiaries, including DISH Wireless, filed prepackaged chapter 11 cases to confirm a joint restructuring plan supported by over 88% of noteholders. The plan aims to repay DISH DBS debt, including $2.0 billion July 1, 2026 notes, and complete the DISH Wireless transition while keeping EchoStar brands, customers, and operations unaffected.
The plan depends on closing the $20.25 billion AT&T spectrum sale, will use a $2.4 billion FCC-mandated fund for qualified DISH Wireless 5G decommissioning claims, and targets emergence from chapter 11 before the end of Q3 2026.
EchoStar (Nasdaq:SATS) will change its Nasdaq stock ticker to ECHO, effective June 24, 2026. The CUSIP number, corporate name, capital structure, and securityholder rights remain unchanged.
No shareholder action is required; brokerage and book-entry records will update to the new ticker automatically.
