EagleOne Metals (EGLMF) has implemented executive and board changes and outlined a renewed strategic focus on uranium opportunities as of September 14, 2026.
Shane Lowry has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer and Director, while founder Matthew Markin moves from CEO to Chief Financial Officer and remains on the Board. Former CFO Barry Wattenberg steps down from that role but continues as a Director, and Director Robert Reukl has resigned. The Audit Committee has been reconstituted to include Howard Blank (Chair), Robert Hall and Shane Lowry. The company plans to place greater emphasis on identifying and advancing uranium-related assets and partnerships while continuing its broader mineral exploration activities.
EagleOne Metals (OTC: EGLMF) announced that its Form 211 has completed FINRA review and its common shares are now quoted on the OTC Open Market. The company is pursuing DTC eligibility and plans to apply for an upgrade to the OTCQB Venture Market.
EagleOne also terminated the proposed Surupampa Project acquisition in Peru. The decision avoids issuing 18,750,000 common shares that would have been required, with management citing preservation of shareholder value and capital structure discipline as key considerations.
