Golden Pursuit Resources Announces Completion of the 2025 Exploration Program at Gordon Lake Project, NWT
Golden Pursuit Resources (TSXV: GDP) has completed its 2025 exploration program at the Gordon Lake gold mining district in Canada's Northwest Territories, encompassing the Myrt Lake, Murray Lake, and DAF properties. The company received a $59,328 grant under the Mining Incentive Program for the project.
The exploration program included detailed litho-structural mapping and rock sampling across all three properties, with assay results expected by end of September. The project has secured exploration permits through 2030 and will benefit from a planned all-weather road connecting Gordon Lake to Tibbit Lake, which will significantly reduce exploration costs.
Historical mining at the properties has yielded significant results, including 221 oz of gold from DAF Vein in 1948, and historic grades up to 9.876 oz over 3 feet from 1981-1982 drilling. The Myrt Lake property historically processed 2,152 tons of gold ore yielding 732 oz at a grade of 0.36 oz/t with 86% recovery rate.

This news release announces the results being submitted with the 2025 assessment reports, which fulfill the mandatory requirements for maintaining our federal and territorial claims and leases at the Gordon Lake Project (the Property), with the aim of extending them until 2030.
Highlights
Litho-Structural Mapping and Sampling: Detailed litho-structural mapping and additional rock sampling were carried out at three of our properties: Myrt Lake, Murray Lake and DAF. Detailed geological mapping data, structural measurements and rock sampling aim to increase the extent of near-surface high-grade mineralization surrounding known workings and mineralization showings. More extensive reconnaissance mapping and rock sampling were conducted to identify new exploration targets.
Assay and Multi-Element Geochemical Analyses: Rock samples were sent to the ALS laboratory in Yellowknife for assay and geochemical analyses. Assay results are expected by the end of September.

Exploration History
The Gordon Lake Project has an extensive exploration history dating back to the late 1930's. There are multiple gold showings within the Project boundary that have had varying degrees of exploration and underground development. The last period of sustained exploration activity in the Kidney Pond and Lynk areas was in the 1980's. In 2020, Golden Pursuit Resources Ltd. acquired and consolidated all the properties in the Gordon Lake Project. Exploration permits for the Company's properties are approved through 2030, including First Nations approvals and permits. The Company looks forward to the construction of an all-weather road connecting Gordon Lake to Tibbit Lake, approximately 30 km long, which will dramatically reduce the Company's exploration and drilling costs.
Golden Pursuit has undertaken several significant exploration programs in the area, including LiDAR surveying, geological mapping and sampling, IP surveying, ground magnetic surveying, and 3D litho-structural modelling. The proposed 2025 program was built on both the historic and recent exploration results.
The historic assay results (Christensen, 1985 – please see references) and historic resource estimates (Knutsen, 1987 – please see references) referenced in this press release were calculated prior to NI-43 guidelines and therefore the QP has not done sufficient work to make the resource current. It is not the purpose of this release to validate any resource estimates. The historical information is relevant because it demonstrates the consistency of exploration at these formerly producing mines over decades. The Issuer is not treating the estimate as current. These are the most recent reports for both areas. Golden Pursuit Resources has compiled all historical data for Gordon Lake, as well as recently acquired new data (2020-2024). The Company issued NI-43 reports in 2021 and 2022.

2025 Exploration Program
The 2025 exploration program on the Gordon Lake Project (Figure 1) was designed to build on historical high-grade results and mine operations, where sampling and drilling intersected significant gold mineralization. Planned, detailed litho-structural mapping and rock sampling helped to understand better the structural-geochemical relationships associated with gold mineralization. Recent targeted exploration efforts have focused on delineating targets, refining the geological model, and planning drillholes for the subsequent drilling campaigns. Further drilling will focus on both confirmation and step-out drilling to enhance geological understanding and to test new targets identified through geophysical and geochemical surveys.
The 2025 exploration program was divided into three phases: the first phase, which included initial geological mapping and sampling for modelling purposes at Myrt Lake (Figure 2); the second phase at Murray Lake (Figure 3); and the third phase at the DAF properties.
- Litho-structural mapping and extension of known mineralized zones: Initial litho-structural mapping and rock sampling on Murray Lake and Myrt Lake to understand controls on mineralization and start to build a geological model for these deposits, including historic data. Detailed litho-structural mapping and rock sampling were integrated with geophysical surveys and geological models at DAF property to expand on historic work, update and refine the geological model, and drillhole planning.
Litho-Structural Mapping and Sampling Program
Detailed litho-structural mapping, as well as surface rock sampling, were conducted over the entire three properties. The objective was to understand the structural and geochemical controls on mineralization. Rock sampling was designed to fill gaps in historical data and provide a more detailed understanding of gold distribution near high-grade zones, thereby refining future drillhole planning.
