Fusemachines (FUSE) has unveiled its new AI Twin technology, demonstrating a future in which intelligent digital counterparts can represent employees in the workplace.

In the “Future Monday Morning Meeting” demonstration, human staff interact with an AI twin of a colleague that provides updates, answers questions, makes recommendations and coordinates work in real time. The system builds on Fusemachines’ work in voice AI, agentic AI, enterprise context, memory, knowledge retrieval and human-AI interaction, aiming to understand an individual’s knowledge, responsibilities, preferences and organizational context so it can perform authorized tasks on their behalf.

The company plans to integrate components of this technology into existing products and is inviting workers, leaders, policymakers, researchers and the public to join a broader discussion on how AI Twins should shape the future of work, privacy, accountability and trust.

A large language model is a computer system trained on vast amounts of text to understand and generate human-like writing, like a very well-read virtual assistant that can summarize, draft, translate, or answer questions. Investors care because it can change how businesses operate and compete—boosting productivity, cutting costs, or enabling new products—while also creating risks around accuracy, regulation, and security that can affect revenue and valuation.

“The Future Monday Morning Meeting” demonstrates humans and AI Twins working side by side and invites the public to join the conversation about what comes next

NEW YORK, Sept. 17, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Fusemachines Inc. (NASDAQ: FUSE), a leading provider of enterprise AI products and services, today unveiled its AI Twin technology, demonstrating a future in which intelligent AI counterparts can represent employees, participate in meetings, share knowledge and perform authorized work on their behalf.

Watch the Introduction: AI Twin Technology
Watch the Demonstration: “The Future Monday Morning Meeting”

In a new demonstration, “The Future Monday Morning Meeting,” Fusemachines showcases human employees and the AI twin of their colleague participating in the same workplace meeting, providing updates, answering questions, making recommendations and coordinating work.

The demonstration brings together technology Fusemachines has been developing across voice AI, agentic AI, enterprise context, memory, knowledge retrieval and real-time human-AI interaction.

While AI agents are typically designed to perform tasks or execute workflows on a user’s behalf, an AI Twin takes that concept further. It is intended to serve as an intelligent digital representation of an individual, understanding that person’s knowledge, responsibilities, preferences, priorities and organizational context.

With appropriate permissions, controls and governance, an AI Twin could learn from information available to an employee, including documents, meetings, projects, communications and historical decisions. That context could ultimately enable AI Twins to participate in meetings, ask and answer questions, communicate on an employee’s behalf, provide guidance and carry out authorized tasks.

“We are getting increasingly close to our vision of truly fusing machines with humans and enabling them to work together,” said Sameer Maskey, Founder and CEO of Fusemachines. “AI agents have already begun changing how people accomplish work. AI Twins could take that idea much further by meaningfully expanding what an individual is capable of accomplishing.”

“The Monday morning meeting of the future may bring humans together with AI Twins representing colleagues whose human counterparts are focused on other, higher-priority work. This demonstration offers a glimpse into what that future could look like.”

Creating an AI Twin requires more than adding a face and voice to a large language model. Fusemachines is bringing together multiple layers of AI technology to enable an agent to understand not just what someone says, but the knowledge and organizational context surrounding that person.

“We have been innovating across voice, conversational intelligence, enterprise context, memory, knowledge retrieval, security, governance, agent orchestration and real-time interaction,” said Anish Joshi, Head of Technology at Fusemachines. “Bringing these technologies together is an important step toward making an AI Twin possible.”

Fusemachines plans to apply components of its AI Twin technology to existing products as it continues developing its longer-term vision for humans and AI agents working together.

What Should the Future of Work Look Like?

The demonstration also raises questions that extend beyond the technology itself.

What happens when an AI can attend a meeting on your behalf? What work should we delegate to AI? What should remain distinctly human? How should privacy, accountability and trust work when AI represents us? And how could this technology change jobs, organizations and our everyday lives?

Fusemachines believes that because the answers to these questions could shape how we work and live, the conversation must extend beyond the technology industry. The company is inviting people across the workforce, employers, business leaders, technologists, government and policy leaders, academics, historians, researchers, students and the broader public, to share their perspectives, raise important questions and help shape a future in which AI Twins evolve on human terms and in ways that reflect the needs, values and priorities of society.
