Galantas Gold Corp. reports news about gold project development, operating and financial results, and capital-structure matters. Recent company updates describe work at the Indiana gold project in Chile, including drilling, geotechnical information, mine-planning support, and evaluation of gold-bearing vein structures.
Galantas news also covers annual financial results, management discussion materials, warrant exercises, shareholder ownership changes, governance matters, and investor communications. The company’s updates frame its activities around the acquisition, development, and advancement of gold assets, with disclosures that also address safety practices, environmental monitoring, and regulatory compliance in its mining operations.
Galantas Gold (OTCQX:GALKF) announced that Chile’s National Geology and Mining Service (SERNAGEOMIN) has approved an amendment to permit the operational reactivation of the Ripios Dumps at the Andacollo Gold Project in Chile’s Coquimbo Region. This extends the validity of the original permit and authorizes continued operation of Ripios Dumps VII, VIII and IX under the same technical, environmental, operational and safety conditions previously approved.
The approval confirms that, despite a suspension of activities since 2016, the Ripios Dumps retain about 16.4 million tonnes of remaining authorized capacity, representing 81% of total approved capacity. Galantas now holds all key regulatory approvals required to resume operations at Andacollo under the previously approved mine design, waste-disposal configuration, heap-leach facilities and operating parameters. The authorized operating period is four years from the start of mineral extraction or until remaining capacity is reached. The company is advancing engineering, procurement, infrastructure rehabilitation and contractor planning while emphasizing local employment and community engagement in Andacollo.
Galantas Gold (GALKF) announced progress on the Preliminary Economic Assessment for its 100%-owned Andacollo Gold Project in Chile. The company has appointed M3 Engineering & Technology to lead the PEA and manage engineering, procurement support and construction management for relocating a recently acquired three-stage crushing plant from Mexico to site, targeting PEA completion in Q4 2026.
NCL Ingeniería y Construcción is advancing mine design and production schedules, while STRACON provides mining cost, fleet and execution-planning input. According to Galantas, existing heap-leach infrastructure and the acquired plant, with a stated design capacity of about 20,000 tpd, are expected to lower restart capital intensity and shorten timelines, supporting a potential restart currently targeted for Q1 2027. Refurbishment of the ADR plant, procurement of long-lead items, and heap-leach facility rehabilitation planning are underway, backed by a Mineral Resource Estimate effective February 1, 2026.
Galantas Gold (OTCQX:GALKF) updated progress on its Indiana gold-copper project near Copiapó, Chile, and expanded the ongoing drill program from a planned 5,000 metres to 12,500 metres, funded from its current cash. To date, 5,060 metres have been drilled in 13 holes targeting extensions of the Bondadosa, Flor de Espino and Consuelo veins and new structures for resource expansion and mine design data.
Visual logging indicates multiple new sulphide-bearing structures and, for the first time at Indiana, disseminated sulphide mineralization and molybdenite in intrusive rocks, plus hypogene chalcocite and bornite. However, Galantas cautions that grades are unknown pending delayed assays. Surface work has also outlined the new Zeus structural trend and La Maravilla target for further trenching and sampling.
Galantas Gold (OTCQX:GALKF) reported that Chile’s National Geology and Mining Service (SERNAGEOMIN) has issued key approvals to support the operational restart of the Andacollo Gold Project in Chile’s Coquimbo Region under its previously authorized configuration. The approvals cover the Tres Perlas open pit with about 11.3 Mt remaining under the existing mining plan, waste-rock facilities with roughly 17.7 Mt of remaining capacity, and the dynamic and Phase VI heap-leach areas, including about 3.3 Mt of authorized capacity. The project is permitted to crush up to 15,000 tpd, its ADR plant remains permitted, and closure obligations are backed by US$3.5 million in financial assurance. The current operating authorization runs for four years from the start of mineral extraction or until authorized tonnage or capacity is reached. A reactivation application for the leach waste dump is under review, and the company has not yet made a production restart decision. Galantas also announced the resignation of its Chief Operating Officer, who will continue as a consultant.
