GMO announced the launch of GMO International Equity ETF (GMIE), an ETF share class of its International Equity Fund. The share class will launch with over $200M from a strategic partner converting mutual fund holdings, rather than a separate portfolio. The fund invests primarily in non-U.S. developed-market equities and had $1.4 billion in assets as of September 30, 2026.
Existing portfolio management and mutual fund access remain unchanged. Class III returned 32.04% over one year versus 15.89% for the MSCI World ex USA Index as of September 30, 2026; it also outperformed over the other reported periods. Some historical returns benefited from one-time recoveries and refunds. Transactions in one share class can create costs and tax consequences for the other. Additional ETF share classes may follow, subject to Board approval.
