Analysis

The stock surged +19.4% in the session following this news. A strong positive reaction aligns with intense trading interest ahead of structural changes, with volume at 19.56x its 20-day average and a 11.19% gain. Historically, Global Mofy’s last reverse split on Nov 22, 2024 saw a -10.7% move, so today’s strength contrasts with that pattern. Investors also faced an active $300,000,000 F-3 shelf and a recent 424B5 usage, factors that could influence how sustainable enthusiasm proved over time.

4 terms
reverse stock split financial
"resolved to effect a reverse stock split of the Company’s class A ordinary shares"
A reverse stock split reduces a company's number of outstanding shares while raising the price per share proportionally, so the total value of each investor's holding is unchanged; a 1-for-10 split turns 100 shares worth $1 each into 10 shares worth $10 each. Companies often do this to regain compliance with an exchange's minimum price rule or to attract investors who avoid very low-priced stocks.
cusip financial
"The new CUSIP number of the Company’s class A ordinary shares will be G3937M205."
A CUSIP is a nine-character alphanumeric code that uniquely identifies a U.S. or Canadian financial security—such as a stock, bond, or fund share—like a Social Security number for an investment. It matters to investors because brokers, exchanges and record-keepers use the CUSIP to match trades, track ownership, settle transactions and pull accurate records, reducing errors and ensuring money and securities go to the right place.
View in glossary
par value financial
"par value at $0.00003 per share issued and outstanding as of the effective date"
Par value is the fixed amount printed on a bond or stock that represents its original value when issued. It’s like the face value of a coin or bill—what the issuer promises to pay back or the starting price of a stock—though it often doesn’t change with market prices. It matters because it helps determine certain financial details, like how much the company will pay back at maturity.
registered offering financial
"offer to sell or the solicitation of an offer to buy these securities"
A registered offering is the public sale of a company’s stocks or bonds that has been filed with and approved by the securities regulator, accompanied by an official disclosure document (prospectus). It matters to investors because the required disclosures provide a clear, regulator‑approved “brochure” about the deal — helping buyers assess risk, potential dilution of existing shares, and how the company plans to use the proceeds, similar to reading a menu before ordering.
