ServLine Water Leak Protection by HomeServe aims to alleviate the financial burden of high water bills caused by leaks in homes. With an estimated 10% of U.S. homes experiencing significant leaks, this program has successfully saved participating water utilities and their customers $22 million over the past seven years. Currently, ServLine collaborates with 175 rural water utilities, covering over 600,000 homeowner connections. The program ensures that utilities can manage customer relations better by providing peace of mind regarding unexpectedly high water bills.
The Hallsdale-Powell Utility District has launched a new Service Line Program in partnership with Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA) to protect customers against unexpected repair costs for water and sewer lines. This program builds on their Leak Protection Program from March 2021 and offers affordable, voluntary service plans. Customers are responsible for repairs on their property, and the SLWA program includes 24-hour access to licensed contractors without any service fees or deductibles. The initiative aims to benefit homeowners amidst aging infrastructure.
