ROCHESTER HILLS, Michigan--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- InfuSystem Holdings, Inc. (NYSE American: INFU) (“InfuSystem” or the “Company”), a leading national health care service provider, facilitating outpatient care for durable medical equipment manufacturers and health care providers, today announced that it has postponed the release of its financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, which had previously been scheduled for today.

The Company requires additional time to complete its quarter-end financial reporting process. The Company expects to announce a revised date for the release of its third quarter financial results and related conference call as soon as practicable.

The Company, together with its Audit Committee and its independent registered public accounting firm, is evaluating whether certain implementation costs for its new ERP system, which went live on March 1, 2026, should be capitalized and amortized over the remaining three-year term of the software subscription agreement rather than expensed as incurred. The Company has expensed these costs as incurred and has reported them separately in its earnings releases. During the period from July 1, 2024 to March 1, 2026, costs totaling $4.2 million were expensed as incurred. Any adjustment would be non-cash and would not affect revenue or cash balances.

Key Terms

erp system technical
An ERP system is integrated software that brings a company’s core operations—such as accounting, inventory, sales, human resources and purchasing—into a single platform so information flows smoothly between departments. Like replacing a stack of separate tools with one central dashboard, it can lower costs, speed decisions, improve reporting and make scaling easier; investors watch ERP projects because they affect profitability, transparency and execution risk during rollout.
capitalized financial
Recorded on a company’s balance sheet as an asset rather than immediately charged as an expense; a cost is capitalized when it is expected to provide economic benefit over multiple future reporting periods, and is then depreciated or amortized over its useful life. Capitalizing spreads the recognition of that cost across future income statements through periodic depreciation or amortization, unlike expensing which affects profit in the period the cost is incurred.
amortized financial
Amortized means spreading a cost or a debt repayment into regular portions over a set period so each payment covers part of the principal and, if applicable, interest. For investors, knowing something is amortized shows how much of a company’s payments are scheduled over time, which affects cash flow, reported profits, and the remaining debt burden—similar to how a mortgage or installment plan breaks a large purchase into predictable monthly payments.
