Jacobs to Support Ireland's Energy Transition Through EirGrid Framework
Jacobs (NYSE: J) has been selected by EirGrid for a five-year Engineering Design, Planning and Project Management Framework with an option for an additional three years to support Ireland's Shaping Our Electricity Future strategy.
The integrated design team will deliver end-to-end planning, design and project management for high-voltage overground and underground transmission, including HVAC and HVDC, to help reach Ireland's goal of at least 80% renewable electricity by 2030. Jacobs cites global project experience and reports approximately $12 billion in annual revenue and a team of almost 45,000.
