Insights

Jayud's Ezhou Huahu hub is operational, targets > $70 million annual trade, and benefits from government support.

The facility goes live and already processes orders, making Jayud a direct operator inside the Ezhou Huahu Airport Economic Zone. The project includes a wholly foreign-owned subsidiary, bonded warehouse capability, and partnerships with at least 2 logistics firms and 15 cross-border e-commerce companies, which together form the operational footprint required to serve international e-commerce flows.

Key dependencies include the airport's air cargo throughput and the agreement's performance milestones tied to subsidies. Recent throughput figures show Ezhou Huahu Airport handled over 1.08 million tons year-to-date and international throughput exceeded 360,000 tons, supporting the hub's connectivity. Execution risks are integration of partners, achieving customer volumes, and meeting milestone thresholds to unlock incentives.

Watch for booked volume and utilization metrics, partnership announcements, and milestone triggers for subsidies over the next 12–24 months. Near-term indicators include onboarding of the pledged e-commerce partners and early monthly throughput figures versus the stated annual cross-border trade target of $70 million.
