Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

Key Terms

spa financial
A sale and purchase agreement (SPA) is a legally binding contract that lays out the exact terms for buying or selling a company, business unit, or shares, including price, what is being transferred, and conditions that must be met before the deal closes. For investors it matters because the SPA determines who gets what, when money changes hands, what warranties or indemnities protect buyers and sellers, and therefore directly affects the value, timing and risk of a transaction — much like a detailed recipe and checklist for a home sale.
fob technical
FOB (Free On Board) is a shipping contract term that specifies the exact point when ownership, shipping costs, and liability for goods shift from the seller to the buyer. Think of it like handing over the keys when a car crosses a line: once the goods pass that point (often the seller’s dock or the ship’s rail), the buyer is responsible for transport, insurance, and any loss. For investors, FOB affects cash flow, inventory timing, and which party bears shipping risk and expense, all of which influence profit margins and balance-sheet reporting.
mtpa technical
mtpa stands for million tonnes per annum and is a measure of how much material a facility or industry — such as mining, oil, gas, chemicals, or cement — can produce in one year. Investors care because it quantifies production capacity like a factory’s hourly output, which helps estimate potential revenue, assess supply impact on prices, and compare scale between projects or companies.
