Mobileye (INTC) entered a definitive agreement to acquire humanoid robotics developer Mentee Robotics for approximately $900 million (about $612M cash plus up to 26.2M Mobileye Class A shares, subject to adjustments). Mobileye said the deal aligns with its push into “Physical AI,” combining Mentee’s vertically integrated humanoid platform and rapid few-shot learning with Mobileye’s autonomy, safety models, and manufacturing scale.

Mobileye reported a current automotive revenue pipeline of $24.5 billion over the next eight years (+40% vs Jan 2023). First on-site proof-of-concept humanoid deployments are targeted in 2026, with series production/commercialization targeted for 2028. The transaction is expected to close in Q1 2026 and modestly raise Mobileye operating expenses in 2026 by a low-single-digit percentage.

Mobileye (Nasdaq: MBLY) announced a U.S. automaker selected its EyeQ6H-powered Mobileye Surround ADAS as standard across mainstream and premium models, estimating future delivery of more than 19 million EyeQ6H-based Surround systems worldwide, including 9 million from the newly announced automaker.

The system consolidates multiple sensors onto a single chip/ECU, supports hands-free, eyes-on driving up to 81 mph (130 kph), leverages REM crowdsourced mapping (harvested by >8 million vehicles), and enables OTA updates and cybersecurity protections.

Mobileye (INTC) said Ruter and AV operator Holo will partner with MOIA to deploy the ID. Buzz AD equipped with the Mobileye Drive self-driving system as early as spring 2026 in Groruddalen, Oslo.

The move follows two years of local testing with Mobileye Drive and uses a second-generation system based on EyeQ 6H. Ruter has envisioned adding up to 30,000 shared autonomous vehicles to Oslo’s network. Trials since 2023 included snow-covered-road testing; Mobileye plans further updates on January 6, 2026 at CES.

The partnership pairs Mobileye's EyeQ™ SoC and sensor product roadmap with VVDN's local engineering, testing, and manufacturing capabilities to support Made-in-India and export-ready platforms, aiming to accelerate time-to-market, customization, and manufacturing readiness for ADAS in India.
