Key Terms

P18-49 technical
P18-49 denotes the group of people aged 18 to 49 and is used as a key audience demographic in media and marketing reports. Investors watch this metric because companies that attract higher engagement from this age band typically command stronger advertising demand and pricing—think of it like a store tracking shoppers in its most valuable age group to set rents and promotion budgets. Changes in P18-49 can signal shifts in revenue potential for media and consumer-facing businesses.
P25-54 technical
P25-54 means the group of people aged 25 to 54, a broad segment often seen as prime working-age adults and core consumers. Investors watch this number because it signals how many potential buyers or viewers a product, service, or media outlet can reach—similar to knowing how many customers walk into a store—so changes can affect sales forecasts, advertising value, and long-term demand.
Live+Same Day technical
Live+same day indicates that information or an event is being presented in real time and that any related materials, filings, or actions will be available or processed within the same trading day. For investors it means you hear the news as it happens and can act on it immediately, similar to watching a live broadcast and getting the highlights and playbook before the day ends — which can affect trading decisions and short-term price moves.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MediaCo Holding Inc. (Nasdaq: MDIA), today announced a standout prime-time performance for EstrellaTV, driven by coverage of the first leg of the Liga MX Finals between Tigres and Toluca. The highly anticipated matchup delivered EstrellaTV’s largest P2+ prime-time audience of 2025, averaging 185.4 thousand viewers, as Tigres claimed a 1–0 win in the opening match of the championship series.

Among both P18-49 and P25-54, EstrellaTV posted its second-highest Thursday prime of the year, outperforming UniMás across both demographics. The broadcast also marked a network milestone, delivering EstrellaTV’s highest Liga MX audience ever among P18–49 at 118.6 thousand viewers, surpassing Fox Deportes (102.9k) and Universo (35.0k). The match also aired on Telemundo (364.0k P18–49), reflecting the strong, multi-network demand for Liga MX Finals coverage.

The championship series concluded on December 14, with Toluca securing its second consecutive Liga MX title following a dramatic 9–8 penalty shootout after a 2–2 aggregate draw. EstrellaTV holds home-game broadcast rights for both the men’s and women’s Tigres teams. Last month, Tigres Femenil captured its own championship, defeating Club América 4–3 on aggregate in the two-leg final.

“Liga MX continues to be one of the most powerful drivers of audience engagement in Spanish-language television,” said Rene Santaella, Chief Operating Officer, MediaCo Holding Inc. “This performance reflects the growing momentum of EstrellaTV and our continued focus on delivering premium live sports that resonate with our viewers.”

“These results also reinforce the value EstrellaTV delivers to advertisers,” added Brian Fisher, Chief Revenue Officer, MediaCo Holding Inc. “Strong, consistent audiences around tentpole events like the Liga MX Finals create meaningful opportunities for brands to connect with highly engaged fans at scale.”

The results further solidify EstrellaTV as a key destination for Spanish-language sports audiences and reflect MediaCo Holding Inc.’s continued investment in premium, live content.
