Historical Context
| Date | Event | Sentiment | Move | Catalyst |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dec 23 | Conference participation | Neutral | -0.3% | Announcement of participation in the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference. |
| Nov 13 | Product/commercial update | Neutral | -0.8% | WRAPSODY reimbursement deferral but immediate full U.S. commercialization and forecast reiteration. |

Recent product and reimbursement wins for WRAPSODY often saw mildly negative price reactions, while earnings beats and guidance raises tended to align with positive moves.
Over the last several months, Merit reported strong quarterly results with revenue rising from $355.4M in Q1 2025 to $384.2M in Q3 2025 and repeatedly raised full-year guidance. Parallel to this, the company advanced its WRAPSODY portfolio with positive 24‑month efficacy data and broader regulatory clearances, while updating commercialization and reimbursement plans. Today’s preliminary Q4 2025 revenue range of $389M–$395M and leadership transition builds on that trajectory of operational growth and governance evolution.
Market Pulse Summary
The stock moved -7.3% in the session following this news. A negative reaction despite solid top-line growth would fit prior instances where positive clinical or strategic updates drew muted or negative moves. The preliminary Q4 2025 revenue range of $389M–$395M with 8%–10% constant currency growth may be weighed against leadership changes and prior insider sales. If expectations were higher, disappointment could drive volatility even without a deterioration in reported fundamentals.
