Matternet (MTTN) has partnered with Swisslog Healthcare’s TransLogic to distribute drone delivery systems to hospitals through TransLogic’s sales team.
The agreement gives Matternet’s M3 systems a distribution channel into TransLogic’s established customer base of 3,000+ hospitals globally, including more than 2,300 in North America. During the partnership’s first year, the companies plan to bring drone delivery to hospital systems in California, Florida, and Arizona. The planned network would connect hospitals, laboratories, pharmacies, and clinics by air, complementing Swisslog’s transport systems inside hospital buildings.
Matternet (MTTN) has expanded its NHS drone delivery network by commencing operations at Great Ormond Street Hospital in partnership with Apian. The service transports time-sensitive pediatric pathology samples, initially connecting the hospital with nearby laboratories operated by The Doctors Laboratory.
Matternet reports that the drones reduce urgent delivery times by up to 90% and plans to extend the network to additional sites. The hospital's stated aim is to enable faster sample transport and testing to support clinical decisions.
Matternet (MTTN) management will participate in three investor conferences in New York City and Los Angeles during October 2026.
The Maxim Growth Summit runs October 12–14, with investor meetings October 14. ThinkEquity takes place October 15, also with investor meetings. LD Micro runs October 19–21; Andreas Raptopoulos is scheduled to present at 5:30 PM ET and hold investor meetings October 20.
Matternet (MTTN) unveiled its M3 autonomous drone delivery platform, targeting the second half of 2027 for commercial service.
Designed for rooftop or ground-level micro-hubs, M3 combines an aircraft, charging dock and package portal. The aircraft is designed to carry up to 11 pounds within a 10-mile service radius. The system is designed to handle delivery after a sender deposits a package, without an aircraft operator on site.
Dave’s Hot Chicken is an initial U.S. launch partner, and Apian is a U.K. launch partner. Matternet plans to build U.S. aircraft manufacturing capacity and use its existing SoftBank Robotics America partnership to support network deployment.
Matternet (MTTN) began trading today on the OTCQB Venture Market under the ticker “MTTN” after its common stock qualified for quotation.
The company expects the OTCQB listing to broaden its visibility and access to capital as it prepares to launch its next-generation drone delivery platform and expand commercial operations in food, retail, healthcare and industrial logistics. Recent milestones include launching drone delivery for the UK’s National Health Service, a strategic partnership with SoftBank Robotics America, new board appointments, and an expanded network of FAA Part 135 operating partners in the United States.
