In the prior-year quarter, the noncash settlement charge attributed to the termination of the company’s legacy pension plans reduced net income by$0.05 per diluted share and the acquisition-related costs reduced net income by$0.39 per diluted share.$0.05 - Following the end of the quarter, we entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Bachan’s, Inc., the fast-growing Japanese Barbecue Sauce brand known for its delicious, authentic, clean-label products.
