Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

NevGold (NAUFF) reported drilling that extended oxide gold-antimony mineralization over 100 meters eastward at its Limousine Butte project in Nevada. The extension reaches inside and outside the Resurrection Ridge resource pit boundary published July 15, 2026. Hole LB26-011 returned 1.55 grams per tonne gold equivalent over 32.0 meters, including 7.27 grams per tonne over 3.0 meters. Gold equivalent combines gold and antimony using assumed prices and recoveries. LB26-008 returned 0.42% antimony over 42.7 meters, including 8.04 grams per tonne gold equivalent over 3.0 meters.

Approximately 50 holes totaling 12,000 meters have been completed, with 38 holes awaiting assays. NevGold has over $43 million in treasury and plans approximately 20,000 meters of drilling in 2026. The company targets Q1-2027 completion of its preliminary economic assessment; metallurgical testing and early permitting are in progress.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

Vancouver, British Columbia, Oct. 22, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- NevGold Corp. (“NevGold” or the “Company”) (TSXV:NAU) (OTCQX:NAUFF) (Frankfurt:5E50) is pleased to announce additional gold-antimony assays from the 2026 drill program at its Limousine Butte Project (the “Project”, “Limo Butte”) in Nevada. These results have extended mineralization by over 100 meters to the east of the Resurrection Ridge resource, adding significant mineralization potential both inside and outside of the 2026 Mineral Resource Estimate (“MRE”) pit-shell released on July 15, 2026 (see News Release).

NevGold CEO, Brandon Bonifacio, comments: “We are extremely pleased with the progress in the 2026 drill program. This latest set of drill results continues to demonstrate the significant oxide gold-antimony potential at Limo Butte, extending mineralization by over 100 meters to the east, both inside and outside of the Resurrection Ridge MRE pit-shell. We are also consistently encountering grades above our current MRE grade profile, which will be important as we advance the current drill program and future resource updates. The mineralized system remains open, and our geological model continues to successfully identify and expand gold-antimony mineralization across the Project. With approximately 50 holes and 12,000 metres completed to date, and 38 holes still pending assays, we believe there is significant potential for additional growth.”

Bonifacio continues: “Importantly, with over $43 million in treasury, we have the financial flexibility to continue executing our growth strategy. The Preliminary Economic Assessment (“PEA”) is advancing on schedule, with targeted completion in Q1-2027. We intend to drive shareholder value through continued operational execution and project de-risking, which creates a compelling opportunity for existing and new investors on one of the most significant oxide gold-antimony projects in the United States.”

FAQ

AI-generated questions and answers. How Rhea-AI works. Not financial advice.

What did NevGold's latest Limousine Butte drilling show?

Drilling extended oxide gold-antimony mineralization over 100 meters eastward, inside and outside the Resurrection Ridge resource pit boundary. LB26-011 returned 1.55 g/t gold equivalent over 32.0 meters, including 7.27 g/t over 3.0 meters. LB26-008 returned 0.42% antimony over 42.7 meters.

When does NevGold expect to complete the Limousine Butte economic assessment?

NevGold targets Q1-2027 completion of the Limousine Butte preliminary economic assessment. The engineering study is in progress.

What assumptions underpin NevGold's gold-equivalent drill grades?

Gold-equivalent grades use assumed prices of US$3,000 per ounce of gold and US$40,000 per tonne of antimony, with assumed recoveries of 80% for gold and 75% for antimony. These assumptions combine the two metals into a gold-equivalent grade.

Are NevGold's Limousine Butte drill intervals true widths?

The reported intervals are downhole thicknesses, not true widths. True width varies with drill-hole dip and is approximately 70% to 90% of downhole thickness.
