Oceania Cruises (NCLH) is opening for sale 12 individual segments of the 180-day 2028 Around the World voyage aboard Oceania Aurelia, departing Miami in January 2028.

Oceania Cruises (NCLH) will operate what it describes as the cruise industry’s first entirely gluten-free ocean voyage, a 12-night roundtrip sailing from Southampton aboard Oceania Vista departing May 31, 2028.
Every onboard dining venue, from specialty restaurants to casual outlets, afternoon tea, in-suite dining and The Bakery, is planned to offer entirely gluten-free menus, aiming to remove the need for guests to check ingredients or worry about cross-contact. The company will hold the official grand opening on Sept. 4, 2026, coinciding with a call from Norwegian Luna. Great Tides Waterpark features the 170-foot Tidal Tower with eight slides including the first Nautilus slide Tropic Spiral and dueling Master Blaster slides, Cliffside Cove with 10- and 15-foot cliff jumps and family slides, the 800-foot Wandering River with an immersive tunnel and swim-up bar, and Splash Cay with over 9,000 square feet of family splash zones.
The opening is part of an ongoing investment in Great Stirrup Cay, which also offers new lagoon and pool areas, adult-only clubs, villas, excursions and year-round Caribbean access from several U.S. homeports.
Oceania Cruises (NYSE:NCLH) announced the float-out of its newest ship, Oceania Sonata, at Fincantieri’s Marghera yard in Italy, marking a key construction milestone as the 695-room vessel moves from dry dock to fitting-out ahead of its August 2027 debut.
Oceania Sonata is the first of five planned Sonata Class ships, with deliveries scheduled for 2027, 2029, 2032, 2035 and 2037.
