NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA) and Safe Superintelligence (SSI), led by Ilya Sutskever, announced a long-term strategic partnership under which NVIDIA will both invest in SSI and provide access to its next-generation Vera Rubin compute platform.
According to the companies, NVIDIA’s substantial investment and Vera Rubin access are expected to expand SSI’s compute capacity by roughly an order of magnitude, supporting SSI’s focused effort to develop a safe superintelligent AI system. The partners also plan to collaborate on the technical advancement of NVIDIA’s current and future compute platforms, using SSI’s research insights into the future of AI. NVIDIA said it entered the partnership after gaining rare visibility into SSI’s closely guarded research, while SSI called the Vera Rubin platform a key enabler for scaling its work.
NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) expanded its NVIDIA Agent Toolkit for engineering by adding re-architected PhysicsNeMo AI physics libraries and updated CUDA-X libraries, giving autonomous AI engineering agents access to AI physics skills, accelerated sparse solvers (cuISS, cuDSS) and quantum chemistry capabilities (cuEST).
The company highlighted Nemotron 3 Ultra, which leads among open models in agentic RTL coding with the ACE-RTL agent. According to NVIDIA, industry leaders including Cadence, Siemens, Synopsys, Samsung, Silvaco, Keysight and TSMC are already using these accelerated computing and agentic AI technologies for workflows spanning chip design, verification, packaging, PCB, 3D-IC, thermal analysis, lithography and quantum chemistry, reporting speedups of up to 20x for multiphysics, over 10x for library characterization and up to 50x for key quantum-chemistry workloads.
NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) and SK Group announced plans for a $500-billion-plus expanded partnership spanning AI factories and next-generation memory. The parties signed letters of intent for a comprehensive AI infrastructure initiative designed to address surging global compute demand.
SK Telecom plans to build a 2-gigawatt AI cloud in Korea based on the NVIDIA DSX full-stack AI factory architecture, deploying NVIDIA Vera Rubin accelerated computing powered by SK hynix HBM4, with the first AI factory targeted to come online in 2027. Separately, SK hynix and NVIDIA agreed to a long-term AI memory partnership to secure stable supply and co-develop optimized next-generation AI memory solutions, including HBM, for workloads from large language model training to agentic and physical AI.
NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA), NAVER and Brookfield announced a planned expansion of Korea’s sovereign AI factory infrastructure, scaling the initial NVIDIA DSX deployment at NAVER’s GAK Sejong data center from 55 megawatts to 200 megawatts by 2028 to support Korea- and U.S.-based AI innovators.
According to NVIDIA, it plans to invest $1 billion into NAVER, while Brookfield has signed a nonbinding term sheet to provide up to $9 billion, with NAVER funding remaining amounts. NVIDIA’s investment is subject to customary closing conditions and NAVER securing at least $9 billion of committed project financing. NAVER ultimately aims to deploy 1 gigawatt of NVIDIA AI infrastructure.
NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) are launching a joint AI research lab at the KAIST Kim Jaechul Graduate School of AI in Seoul to advance agentic AI models and systems tailored to Korea’s language and industries.
The $300 million collaboration is expected to include $50 million per year in compute contributions over an initial five-year period via local NVIDIA Cloud Partners.
