"KPMG Accountants N.V. was appointed as the Company’s independent external auditor"
An independent external auditor is a neutral, third-party accounting professional or firm that examines a company’s financial records, statements, and internal controls to confirm they are accurate and comply with accounting rules. Like a referee verifying a game's score, their independent report gives investors confidence that reported results are reliable and helps reveal mistakes, misleading practices, or weaknesses that could affect the company’s financial health and investment risk.
remuneration policyfinancial
"approved the proposals to amend the Remuneration policy for the Board of Directors"
A remuneration policy is a company’s written guide on how it pays executives and senior managers, covering salary, bonuses, stock awards and other benefits. It matters to investors because it shows how pay is linked to long-term performance and risk—like a recipe that determines whether incentives encourage sustainable growth or reward short-term gains—affecting governance, shareholder returns and potential conflicts of interest.
repurchase sharesfinancial
"to renew the authorizations for the Board of Directors to issue shares and to repurchase shares"
A company buying back its own outstanding stock from the market or directly from shareholders, reducing the number of shares available to the public. For investors this matters because it can boost per-share metrics and share price by concentrating ownership and signaling management’s confidence, but it also uses cash that could be spent elsewhere—think of a store redeeming gift cards to reduce outstanding coupons and make the remaining ones effectively more valuable.
