PolarX (PXXXF) reported exceptional copper and silver assay results from initial 2026 diamond drill holes at the Caribou Dome Project in Alaska, part of the Alaska Range Joint Venture with Northern Star Resources.
Highlights include CD26-007 with 24.8m @ 9.8% Cu and 14.5g/t Ag from 2.4m, including 4.9m @ 13.6% Cu and 20.4g/t Ag, and CD26-004 with 22.6m @ 8.1% Cu and 13.5g/t Ag from 3.7m. Additional narrower high-grade intervals were also reported. Caribou Dome hosts a JORC Resource of 224,375t of contained copper, while the nearby Zackly deposit has 45,000t of contained copper and 213,000oz of contained gold. The fully funded 2026 program has about 1,700m of drilling remaining, financed under a JV where Northern Star can earn up to 70% by contributing up to US$39m; PolarX has received US$11m to date.
