Aftertreatment is the follow-up care or additional therapies given after an initial medical procedure or primary treatment, like maintenance medicines, rehabilitation, or secondary procedures. Think of it as the maintenance service after a major repair: it helps sustain or improve the initial result. For investors, aftertreatment shapes long‑term patient outcomes, recurring revenue opportunities, regulatory requirements and reimbursement flows, all of which affect a healthcare product’s market value.
multiplexingtechnical
Multiplexing is a technique that lets a single test, device, or channel handle many separate signals or measurements at the same time—like scanning several grocery items in one bag instead of making separate trips for each. For investors it matters because multiplexing raises throughput and cuts per-item cost, speeding product use or data flow and potentially improving margins, pricing power, and competitiveness while sometimes adding regulatory or technical complexity.
