supply chain technical
A supply chain is the series of steps involved in producing and delivering a product or service, from raw materials to the final customer. It includes all the processes, such as sourcing materials, manufacturing, and distribution, that ensure products reach consumers. For investors, understanding the supply chain helps gauge how efficiently a company can meet demand and manage costs, impacting its profitability and stability.
working capital financial
Working capital is the money a business has available to cover its daily expenses, like paying bills and buying supplies. It’s like the cash in your wallet that helps you handle everyday costs; having enough ensures the business can operate smoothly without running into money shortages.
procurement technical
Procurement is the process a company uses to buy the goods, materials, or services it needs to operate—everything from raw materials and office supplies to outsourced work. It matters to investors because good procurement keeps costs down, ensures steady supply, and reduces risks from disruptions; think of it like a household choosing reliable, cost-effective vendors so bills stay predictable and the household runs smoothly.
automation technical
Automation is the use of technology to perform tasks with minimal human intervention, often replacing manual work with machines or software. It matters to investors because it can increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enable faster decision-making, potentially leading to higher profits and competitive advantages for businesses.
contract lifecycle management technical
Contract lifecycle management is the organized process of creating, approving, storing and enforcing business contracts from start to finish, like a digital filing system and checklist that tracks each stage until a contract expires or is renewed. Investors care because efficient management reduces legal and operational risks, speeds revenue recognition and cost savings, and makes a company’s future cash flow and compliance more predictable — similar to keeping clear records that help avoid costly surprises.
AI-ready technical
AI-ready means that a company’s data, software and operations are organized and compliant so artificial intelligence tools can be added quickly and safely. Think of it like a house pre-wired for electricity: the infrastructure, quality of data and privacy safeguards are in place so AI can be switched on with lower cost, less delay and fewer regulatory surprises. For investors, AI-ready status often signals faster product rollouts, clearer conversion of data into value, and reduced implementation risk.
AI-enabled technical
AI-enabled describes a product, service, or process that uses artificial intelligence—software that learns from data and makes decisions or predictions—as a core feature rather than a minor add-on. For investors it matters because AI-enabled offerings can boost productivity, lower costs or unlock new revenue streams; like adding a smart autopilot to a routine task, they can change a company's growth potential and competitive edge while also bringing higher upfront investment needs and distinct regulatory or ethical risks.

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- RGP (Nasdaq: RGP), a global professional services firm, today announced that Jessica Harris will lead the Supply Chain Practice within its expanded Consulting Services Segment. With this appointment, RGP continues its commitment to delivering a unified lifecycle solution where supply chain, finance, and technology initiatives are seamlessly aligned to unlock agility, reduce risk, and build resilient, AI-ready operations.

Jessica Harris, Supply Chain Practice Leader at RGP.

Harris’ appointment comes at a pivotal moment as supply chain strategy increasingly serves as a primary lever for both CFOs and CIOs as organizations balance cost pressure, tariff volatility, working capital optimization, and the need to modernize fragmented technology environments. What was once considered a primarily operational function has evolved into a strategic enterprise capability that influences profitability, resilience, and long-term growth.

“Supply chain has moved from a back-office function to a strategic CFO priority,” said Scott Rottmann, President of Consulting Services at RGP. “Jessica brings deep expertise in operational strategy, technology optimization, and AI readiness. She understands how to cut through the complexity to create measurable financial impact, which ultimately helps our clients reduce risk, improve agility, and create sustainable value.”

Organizations are increasingly investing in multi-source, multi-region supply networks designed to balance cost efficiency with flexibility and geopolitical stability. At the same time, many companies are navigating fragmented data environments, aging systems, and limited internal capacity to execute large transformation agendas.

By combining supply chain and procurement consulting expertise with the ability to also support clients’ on-demand talent needs, RGP helps organizations manage transformation initiatives, supplier disruptions, and operational workloads with agility.

In her expanded role, Harris will continue to build RGP’s capabilities across supply chain transformation, procurement optimization, and AI-enabled operational strategy. She and her team will help organizations unlock cost efficiencies, improve working capital performance, and strengthen operational resilience through initiatives such as inventory optimization, network footprint redesign, procurement transformation, and automation of transactional processes.

Her work will also focus on helping organizations realize greater value from existing supply chain technologies, including planning, procurement, and contract lifecycle management platforms, by improving data integration, process alignment, and adoption rather than defaulting to costly system replacements.

“The most resilient organizations are designing supply chains that are both flexible and intelligent,” Harris said. “That requires strong data foundations, modern operational processes, and the ability to adapt quickly as market conditions change. When those elements come together, companies can unlock immediate financial impact while positioning themselves for long-term innovation and AI-enabled decision-making.”

Prior to RGP, she held supply chain leadership roles at Sirius Solutions and Johnson & Johnson, where she focused on operational strategy, procurement transformation, and supply network optimization.
