MEDINA, Ohio--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- RPM International Inc. (NYSE: RPM) today announced the election of Jeffrey D. Rowe to its board of directors. Mr. Rowe joins RPM's 11 other directors who were elected to RPM's board of directors at today’s annual meeting of stockholders. Mr. Rowe's addition to the board of directors reflects RPM's ongoing commitment to expanding the expertise and leadership capabilities of its board as the company continues to drive long-term growth and shareholder value.

Mr. Rowe currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Archer-Daniels-Midland Company (ADM), where he oversees the company's three business units, four regions and its global operations, R&D and sustainability functions. He is a member of ADM's Executive Council. His background overseeing large-scale industrial, supply and commercial operations around the world brings valuable insight as RPM continues to expand its global operations and execute its long-term growth strategy.

Prior to joining ADM, Mr. Rowe served as Chief Executive Officer of Syngenta Group, one of the world's leading agricultural technology companies, where he led efforts to advance sustainable farming and AI-powered innovation. He previously spent more than two decades at DuPont Pioneer, holding executive leadership roles spanning strategic planning, biotech affairs and regulatory, legal and supply management.

Mr. Rowe earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture business from Iowa State University, a J.D. from Drake University Law School and a TRIUM Global Executive MBA from a joint program of the NYU Stern School of Business, the London School of Economics and HEC Paris. He will serve on RPM's governance and nominating committee.
