Searchlight Resources Mobilizes Drill Rig to the Robinson Creek Gold Project
Searchlight begins a 1,000 m verification drill program at Robinson Creek and grants 1.1 million stock options to insiders and consultants.
Rhea-AI Summary
Searchlight Resources (SCLTF) is mobilizing a diamond drill rig and geological team for a 5-hole, approximately 1,000 metre drill program at the Robinson Creek Gold project in Saskatchewan. The program is designed to verify historical drilling and confirm gold mineralization based on 70 historical drill holes totaling 9,618 metres from the 1940s and 1980s.
The Robinson Creek project comprises 2 claims over 2.9 sq km with three gold zones (Vein, Bleiler, Quartz) along about 1 km of the Mosher Lake Shear Zone. An initial exploration target is stated as 2–3 million tonnes grading 1.20–1.60 g/t gold, described as potentially amenable to open-pit mining, though not yet a mineral resource. Searchlight also granted 1,100,000 stock options exercisable at $0.105 per share until September 9, 2031, vesting immediately.

Vancouver, British Columbia--(Newsfile Corp. - September 9, 2026) - Searchlight Resources Inc. (TSXV: SCLT) (OTC Pink: SCLTF) ("Searchlight" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that a diamond drill rig and geological team are being mobilized to the Robinson Creek Gold project, located approximately 16 km west of Creighton, Saskatchewan and Flin Flon, Manitoba.
Searchlight is mobilizing for a drill program of 5 diamond drill holes totaling approximately 1,000 metres that is designed to verify historic drilling and confirm gold mineralization. The Company has compiled data from 70 historical drill holes (totaling 9,618 metres) from the 1940s and 1980s and has recently completed a summer surface program aimed at locating these past drill hole locations and providing data for the drill program.
"We are excited to start drilling at Robinson Creek to verify historical drilling and known mineralized zones. The planned drilling program is intended to provide modern drill data that are part of the next step in defining a gold deposit at Robinson Creek," stated Stephen Wallace, Searchlight's CEO. "Given the current gold price environment, the Robinson Creek project is becoming an increasingly important asset to Searchlight and its shareholders."
The Robinson Creek Gold project consists of 2 claims covering 2.9 square km, located approximately 15 km northwest of Searchlight's Bootleg Lake Gold claims (Map 1). It is a structurally controlled mesothermal lode gold system comprising three gold zones - the Vein, Bleiler, and Quartz Zones - over a strike length of approximately 1 km along the Mosher Lake Shear Zone.
Robinson Creek Highlights
- Initial Exploration Target ranges from 2 - 3 million tonnes with grades between 1.20 g/t -1.60 g/t gold. Amenable to open-pit mining.
- Located 16 km west of Creighton, Saskatchewan and Flin Flon, Manitoba, and 15 km from Searchlight's Bootleg Lake brownfield mine site.
- Compilation of 70 historical drill holes (totaling 9,618 metres) from the 1940s and 1980s.
- Historical drill holes and geophysics outline a zone of mineralization extending at least 1,000m along the Mosher Lake Shear Zone.
- Recent airborne magnetic surveys have outlined exploration potential along strike and south of the known zones.
- 60 drill holes have gold intersections greater than 1.0 g/t gold.
- 45 gold intersections have greater than 2.0 g/t gold over at least one metre.
- Multiple wide gold intersections:
- 2.46 g/t gold over 57.60 m in DDH 81-2
- 7.59 g/t gold over 10.94 m in DDH HB-6
- 3.80 g/t gold over 21.00 m in DDH R07-1
- 2.15 g/t gold over 32.00 m in DDH 81-1
Disclaimer Drill Compilation: Management cautions that the presented drill sample results are historical in nature, and Searchlight has not undertaken any independent investigation of the sampling, nor has it independently analyzed the results of the previous exploration work to verify the results. Searchlight considers these sample results relevant, as the Company uses historical reports and sample results to evaluate and plan future exploration programs. All drill intercepts are drill-indicated lengths. Insufficient technical information exists to demonstrate the true widths of these intersections. The technical information is derived from public documents available through the Saskatchewan Government Ministry of Energy and Resources.
Disclaimer Initial Exploration Target: The potential quantity and grades are conceptual in nature. There has been insufficient exploration drilling to define a mineral resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the Exploration Target being delineated as a mineral resource.
Grant of Options
Searchlight announces that it has granted incentive stock options to officers, directors, advisors and consultants under its Stock Option Plan entitling them to purchase an aggregate of up to 1,100,000 common shares of the Company. The stock options will vest immediately and are exercisable on or before September 09, 2031, at a price of

FAQ
What is the scale and design of the new drill program at Robinson Creek?
The program consists of 5 diamond drill holes totaling approximately 1,000 metres. It is designed to verify historical drilling and confirm gold mineralization in known mineralized zones, using data compiled from 70 historical drill holes totaling 9,618 metres and a recent surface program that located past drill collars.
How is the Robinson Creek Gold project described geologically and geographically?
The Robinson Creek Gold project comprises 2 claims covering 2.9 square kilometres, about 16 km west of Creighton, Saskatchewan and Flin Flon, Manitoba, and 15 km northwest of the Bootleg Lake Gold claims. It is described as a structurally controlled mesothermal lode gold system with three zones – the Vein, Bleiler, and Quartz Zones – over roughly 1 km of strike along the Mosher Lake Shear Zone.
What historical drilling results support further exploration at Robinson Creek?
The compilation includes 70 historical drill holes, where 60 holes have gold intersections greater than 1.0 g/t and 45 intersections exceed 2.0 g/t gold over at least one metre. Noted wide intersections include 2.46 g/t gold over 57.60 m (DDH 81-2), 1.59 g/t over 10.94 m (DDH HB-6), 3.80 g/t over 21.00 m (DDH R07-1), and 1.15 g/t over 32.00 m (DDH 81-1), all described as historical drill-indicated lengths.
What cautions does Searchlight provide regarding the historical drill data and exploration target?
Management states that the drill results are historical in nature. Searchlight has not independently investigated the sampling or analyzed previous exploration work to verify the results and notes that there is insufficient technical information to determine true widths of the intersections. For the initial exploration target, the company describes the quantity and grades as conceptual in nature, with insufficient drilling to define a mineral resource and uncertainty whether further exploration will delineate it as a mineral resource.
What are the terms of the incentive stock options that were granted?
The company granted incentive stock options for up to 1,100,000 common shares to officers, directors, advisors and consultants under its Stock Option Plan. The options vest immediately, have an exercise price of $0.105 per share, and are exercisable on or before September 9, 2031.
Who is the Qualified Person for the technical information in this announcement?
Stephen Wallace, P.Geo., the company’s President, CEO and Director, is the Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101 and has reviewed and approved the technical information in the news release.
