Epson (OTC:SEKEY) has launched its seventh generation of EcoTank cartridge-free printers, introducing the new ET-3950 ($419.99) and ET-4950 ($499.99) models. The company, having sold over 100 million units globally, continues to innovate its successful Supertank printer line.

The new models feature high-capacity ink tanks that last up to three years, with each replacement set equivalent to about 80 individual cartridges. Both printers deliver 18 black/9 color ISO ppm print speeds and include advanced features like auto document feeders, 250-sheet paper trays, and auto duplex printing. The ET-4950 additionally offers fax capability and a touchscreen interface.

The new product line includes two formats: SureLab Greeting Cards Half-Fold (7"x10", perforated to make 5"x7" cards) and SureLab Greeting Cards Flat (5"x7").

The media offerings are designed to help production houses and small businesses meet growing demand for personalized, small-format greeting card orders. Both media types come in packs of 25 cards with envelopes and are available through Epson Authorized Professional Imaging Resellers.

The new media supports single or double-sided output and features a perforated, ready-to-fold design that requires no cutting or trimming, streamlining the production process and reducing turnaround times.
