Somnigroup International (NYSE: SGI) has appointed Kindel Nuño as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, effective May 5, 2025. Nuño, who previously served as Executive Vice President, Legal and General Counsel at Mattress Firm, will report directly to Scott Thompson, Chairman, President and CEO of Somnigroup.
According to Thompson, Nuño's experience at Mattress Firm has provided her with valuable insights into retail operations from a people and culture perspective. In her new role, she will lead human resource and communications functions across the Somnigroup organization, leveraging her experience in implementing strategic initiatives while considering both regulatory compliance and employee impact.
