Siemens Healthineers (SMMNY) has initiated the carve-out of its in vitro diagnostics business to establish a standalone company named Olyrian Diagnostics. The company expects the transition to be completed by mid-2028, with the new name rolled out in stages. Siemens Healthineers also plans to change its own name to Healthineers in parallel.
Olyrian will remain part of Siemens Healthineers during the transition. There is currently no change to products and services, contracts, service levels or customer contacts. The diagnostics business provides laboratory and point-of-care testing solutions.
