WEST JORDAN, Utah--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Tri Pointe Homes, Inc. (NYSE: TPH), one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, today announced the opening of its first-ever community in Utah, Polaris at Terraine in West Jordan. This debut marks the beginning of a larger presence in the state, with a total of five upcoming communities opening across Salt Lake, Utah, and Wasatch counties.

The expansion serves homebuyers at a time when Utah is thriving. The state has had the nation’s best economic outlook for the last 18 years, and has been lauded as best state overall in the country this year.

Tri Pointe Homes opened its Utah division in September 2024 with a new office in Salt Lake City’s Sugar House neighborhood, marking a strategic expansion into one of the nation’s most dynamic and supply-constrained housing markets. The company plans to open a state-of-the-art Design Studio in the same location in 2026 to give homebuyers a hands-on, immersive design experience. With the combination of an experienced Utah-based team, and the resources of a large national homebuilder, Tri Pointe is uniquely positioned to match the unmet needs of Utah homebuyers through extensive research and a high-touch, customer-driven design experience.

Each of these five new neighborhoods focuses on achieving Tri Pointe Homes’ mission of building premium homes with deep ties to the communities it serves.

The Five New Communities:

  • Polaris at Terraine (West Jordan) is the first Tri Pointe neighborhood to open, with an initial 32 single-family homes up to 3,400 sq. ft. (including finished basements) featuring 3-4 bedrooms and modern farmhouse architecture. Tucked into the foothills of the Oquirrh Mountains, Terraine puts buyers close to downtown while also offering easy access to trails, scenic vistas, and a design that fits the land. The larger planned community emphasizes a deep connection to nature by embracing Utah’s native landscapes and high-desert foothills. Sales are anticipated to begin August 2, 2025.
  • The Crossings at Lake Creek (Heber City) is planned to include 139 single-family homes featuring elevated farmhouse and cottage design styles, with up to eight bedrooms and 5,000 sq. ft. (including finished basements). The Crossings’ location offers convenient commute times to local employment centers in Salt Lake City, Park City, Provo, and more – and is under 30 minutes away from Deer Valley skiing. The larger planned community is anticipated to feature a future clubhouse, pool, pickleball courts, a fishing pond, and 67 acres of open space and trails. Homes are expected to open for sale in August 2025.
  • Aspire at Holladay Hills (Holladay) and Pavilions at Holladay Hills (Holladay) are two exciting new communities in Holladay, in one of the most in-demand, walkable neighborhoods in Utah. Aspire at Holladay Hills will bring refined urban living to those who want close access to the city’s attractions and will offer 57 townhomes. Pavilions at Holladay Hills are six one-of-a-kind luxury estates. All model homes will be designed in collaboration with design expert, Emmy-winning TV host and author, Bobby Berk. Berk is partnering with Tri Pointe Homes to furnish its Holladay Hills models with curated, custom interiors that are functional, personal, and inspiring. Anticipated to go on sale early 2026.
  • Canyon Park (Orem) will offer 79 homes up to 4,100 sq. ft. and is planned to open in early 2026. This redevelopment of the former WordPerfect campus emphasizes thoughtful planning and craftsmanship and offers a rare opportunity to holistically design a neighborhood from the ground up in Orem’s beautiful East Bench, about a 20-minute drive from the arts and recreation of Sundance.

All Tri Pointe Homes Utah communities offer buyers extensive personalization through curated finish selections, along with the company’s HomeSmart® technology package.
