Key Terms

unmanned systems technical
"Australia-based unmanned systems specialist to serve regional customers..."
Unmanned systems are machines that operate without a person on board, such as drones, robotic vehicles, or stationary automated platforms controlled remotely or operating autonomously. Investors care because these systems can open new markets, cut labor and operating costs, and face unique regulatory, safety and technology risks—think of them as robotic helpers that can boost productivity but whose value depends on rules, reliability and customer adoption.
intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technical
"and a provider of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) solutions."
Intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) are the activities and systems used to gather information about people, places and events—like a combination of watching with cameras and sensors, collecting clues, and making sense of them to know what is happening or likely to happen. Investors care because ISR drives demand for specialized equipment, software and services and affects national security spending and risk assessments; companies involved can see steady contracts, technology-driven growth, or heightened scrutiny depending on geopolitical developments.
ISR technical
"and a provider of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) solutions."
ISR stands for socially responsible investing (from the French phrase Investissement Socialement Responsable) and means choosing stocks, bonds or funds based on environmental, social and governance criteria in addition to financial return. Like picking a brand that matches your values, ISR matters to investors because it helps align portfolios with personal or institutional priorities, can reduce exposure to companies with regulatory or reputational risks, and can influence demand and valuation for firms deemed more sustainable.
fixed-wing technical
"for EagleNXT’s fixed-wing unmanned systems across commercial, government..."
A fixed-wing aircraft is any airplane that generates lift from stationary wings attached to a fuselage, unlike helicopters whose rotors spin to lift them. For investors, identifying an asset as fixed-wing signals different economics and uses—typically longer range, higher speed, better fuel efficiency, and lower per-mile operating cost than rotary aircraft—so it affects revenue potential, maintenance needs, and regulatory considerations for aviation-related businesses.
cagr financial
"growing at a robust Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 15.17%..."
Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) measures the average yearly growth of an investment, revenue, or other metric over a multi-year period as if it had grown at a steady rate each year. Think of it like the constant speed that would take you from the starting value to the ending value over the same time—useful because it smooths out ups and downs and lets investors compare different assets or performance periods on an even footing.
uas technical
"For more information about the full suite of EagleNXT UAS solutions..."
UAS stands for Unmanned Aircraft System, the complete setup that lets a remotely piloted aircraft (commonly called a drone) fly safely — including the aircraft itself, the ground controller, communications links and supporting equipment. Investors watch UAS because rules, technology and demand for tasks like surveying, delivery or aerial inspection directly affect companies’ sales and regulatory costs; think of it as a vehicle plus its keys, radio and support crew that together determine whether it can operate profitably.
geographic information system technical
"solutions in surveying, agriculture, mining, construction, ISR, and geographic information system (GIS) applications."
A geographic information system (GIS) is a digital mapping tool that links location data to other information—like sales, assets, population, or environmental risks—so you can see patterns on a map instead of in spreadsheets. For investors, GIS turns abstract numbers into visual insights that help evaluate market reach, choose sites, spot logistical or climate-related risks, and monitor resources, making it easier to judge growth potential and operational vulnerabilities.

WICHITA, Kan., Dec. 22, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- AgEagle Aerial Systems Inc. (dba, EagleNXT) (the “Company” or “EagleNXT”) (NYSE: UAVS), a leading provider of advanced drone and aerial imaging solutions, today announced the signing of a Master Distributor Agreement with Falcon UAV, an Australia-based unmanned autonomous systems specialist and a provider of Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) solutions.

Under the agreement, Falcon UAV is appointed as a non-exclusive Master Distributor for the complete range of EagleNXT senseFly drones throughout the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Falcon UAV will oversee regional distribution, channel partners, and customer engagement for EagleNXT’s fixed-wing unmanned systems across commercial, government, and defense-adjacent APAC markets.

In this strategic role, Falcon UAV will lead EagleNXT channel development and customer support in APAC by:

  • Provide EagleNXT senseFly sales support, technical guidance, demonstrations, forecasting, and ongoing performance monitoring to all appointed Affiliate Distributors

EagleNXT will support Falcon UAV with marketing funds, co-exhibition at regional events, product demonstration units, and technical resources to ensure rapid and successful market expansion.

“This Master Distributor Agreement with Falcon UAV is a major step forward in scaling the availability and support of EagleNXT senseFly drones across the vast Asia-Pacific region,” said Bill Irby, CEO of EagleNXT. “Falcon UAV’s extensive regional presence, proven technical expertise, and strong customer relationships make them the perfect partner to accelerate adoption of senseFly’s industry-leading fixed-wing solutions in surveying, agriculture, mining, construction, ISR, and geographic information system (GIS) applications.”

”This is just the latest chapter in the long history between our companies,” said Luke Weekley, CEO of Falcon UAV. “The collaboration has grown from agricultural surveying for farmers and ranchers, branched into commercial business, and continues into Defense and ISR mission sets. We are excited for our energized partnership to expand our cooperative reach into the region and raise the bar for serving our expanding Asia-Pacific customer base.”

The APAC drone market is one of the fastest-expanding globally, valued at approximately USD 12.88 billion in 2025 and projected to reach USD 26.1 billion by 2030, growing at a robust Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 15.17% (Mordor Intelligence). The commercial segment alone is expected to nearly double from around USD 10-12 billion in 2025 to more than nearly USD 20 billion by 2030, driven by a 13.3% CAGR according to Grand View Research.

The EagleNXT’s senseFly fixed-wing drones are well-suited to APAC's key industries, where large-area coverage, endurance, and high precision mapping provide significant advantages over multi-rotor alternatives. This partnership positions EagleNXT to capture a meaningful share of this high growth opportunity through localized expertise and robust support networks.

  • Agriculture — APAC's vast farmlands benefit immensely from precision agriculture tools for crop monitoring, irrigation optimization, and yield forecasting
  • Mining — The region's booming mining sector relies on drones for stockpile volumetrics, site surveying, and safety inspections over expansive open-pit operations.
  • Surveying, Construction, and GIS — Rapid infrastructure development and urbanization demand efficient topographic mapping and progress monitoring
  • Emerging Defense and ISR Applications — Countries in the region continue to fund and develop UAS capabilities, as the region’s defense posture adapts to advancements in platform’s ISR capabilities
