Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- REX Shares (“REX”) today announced that the Board of Trustees (the “Board”) of REX ETF Trust (the “Trust”), based on the recommendation of REX Advisers, LLC (the “Adviser”), has approved the closure and liquidation of the REX IncomeMax™ Option Strategy ETF (Nasdaq: ULTI) and the Laddered T-Bill ETF (Cboe BZX: TLDR). What shareholders should know

ULTI and TLDR will stop accepting creation orders after the close of business on November 6, 2026. Shareholders may sell shares of ULTI and TLDR on their listing exchanges through the close of regular trading on November 6. Between the last day for creation orders and the Closing Date, shareholders may only be able to sell their shares to certain broker-dealers, and there is no assurance that a market for fund shares will exist during that period. After the Closing Date, shares will no longer trade on an exchange, and there can be no assurance that a market for fund shares will exist between the Closing Date and the Liquidation Date.

The two funds will follow different paths to the Closing Date. ULTI’s distribution paid October 23, 2026 will be its final weekly distribution. Beginning on or about October 23, 2026, ULTI will close out, or allow to expire, its options positions and transition its portfolio to cash and cash equivalents, which it will hold through its last day of trading. TLDR will continue to be managed in accordance with its investment objective and principal investment strategies until the Liquidation Date, at which point its portfolio will be converted to cash for distribution to shareholders.

Following the Liquidation Date, each fund will distribute cash to shareholders of record who have not sold their shares, which may take up to approximately 10 days (on or about November 23, 2026). This liquidating distribution may include accrued income and capital gains, and it may be more or less than the amount a shareholder would have received by selling shares on the exchange before the Closing Date. Once the distributions are complete, each fund will terminate.

Shareholders who continue to hold ULTI or TLDR through the Liquidation Date do not need to take any action to receive their liquidating distribution. Additional details are available in the supplement to each fund’s prospectus filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on October 22, 2026.

Key Terms

net asset value financial
Net asset value is the total value of an investment fund's assets minus any liabilities, divided by the number of shares or units outstanding. It represents the per-share worth of the fund, similar to how the value of a house is determined by its total worth after debts are subtracted. Investors use it to gauge the true value of their holdings and to compare different investment options.
View in glossary
creation orders financial
Creation orders are instructions by large market participants to an exchange-traded fund (ETF) issuer to add new ETF shares to the market by delivering the underlying basket of securities or cash. They matter to investors because this process helps keep an ETF’s price aligned with the value of its holdings and supplies or removes shares to meet demand, which supports liquidity, tighter bid‑ask spreads and more predictable trading costs—like a factory making more toy sets when stores need them.
cusips financial
A CUSIP is a unique nine-character code assigned to stocks, bonds and other U.S. and Canadian securities that works like a barcode, letting traders, brokers and databases identify a specific issue quickly and without confusion. Investors rely on CUSIPs to match trades, settle transactions, track holdings and find official documents, so correct CUSIP use helps prevent errors and ensures records and regulatory filings point to the exact security.
liquidating distribution financial
A liquidating distribution is a payment made to shareholders when a company is winding up or selling off its assets, returning the investors’ share of the cash left after debts are paid. Think of it as splitting the proceeds from selling a house: creditors are paid first, then remaining money is handed back to owners; for investors this signals a company is ending operations and affects how much capital they recover and how it’s taxed.
