Nine Mile Metals DDH WD-26-18 Intersects A High Grade VMS Lens, Returning 7.13% Cu-Eq Over 11.65 M Including 9.93% Cu-Eq Over 6.70 M And 10.46% Cu-Eq Over 4.80 M, With An Additional Upper 31.50m Copper Stringer Zone
The reported intersections are true widths, with silver and gold contributing alongside copper, lead and zinc.
Sentiment and the balance of points
Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.
Rhea-AI Summary
Nine Mile Metals (VMSXF) reported drill-hole assays intersecting a mineralized lens at its Wedge project in New Brunswick.
Hole WD-26-18 returned 7.13% copper equivalent over 11.65 meters, including 9.93% over 6.70 meters and 10.46% over 4.80 meters. Copper equivalent combines copper, lead, zinc, silver and gold into a comparable grade. The reported intersections are true widths. The 6.70-meter interval contained silver grades of 71 to 136 grams per tonne and gold grades of 1.16 to 2.40 grams per tonne. An upper copper stringer zone, consisting of mineralized veins, returned 0.40% copper equivalent over 31.50 meters.
The company said the hole extends the mineralized footprint along the eastern edge of its drill pattern. Borehole electromagnetic surveying is scheduled, with follow-up drilling planned to test the lens along its length and at depth.
How this balance works
Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.
It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.
Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.
Hollow bars mark forward-looking points. How the balance works
Positive
- Moderate pointWD-26-18 returned 7.13% copper equivalent over 11.65 meters, including 9.93% over 6.70 meters and 10.46% over 4.80 meters.
- Minor pointThe 6.70-meter interval carried 71–136 grams per tonne silver and 1.16–2.40 grams per tonne gold.
- Minor pointUpper copper stringer mineralization returned 0.40% copper equivalent over 31.50 meters.
- Minor pointWD-26-18 extends the mineralized footprint along the eastern drill-pattern edge, the company said.
- Minor point. Forward-looking: it has not happened yet and may not happen.Borehole electromagnetic surveying is scheduled; follow-up drilling is planned to test the lens along its length and at depth.
Negative

TORONTO, ON / ACCESS Newswire / October 21, 2026 / Nine Mile Metals Ltd. (CSE:NINE)(OTCQB:VMSXF)(FSE:KQ9) (the "Company" or "Nine Mile") is pleased to announce assay results for DDH WD-26-18 at the Wedge VMS Project in the Bathurst Mining Camp, New Brunswick.

DDH WD-26-18 was collared along the northeast edge of our drill pattern, (oriented at 145°, angled -50° below horizontal), to a depth of 302 meters.
Collared in felsic volcanics, sulphide mineralogy was first intersected between 44.6 and 47.0 meters with pyrite and minor chalcopyrite continuing to 128.1 meters followed by a 2.6-meter transition consisting of 15 -
Gary Lohman, P.Geo., VP Exploration and Director, stated, "As we drilled from the north along the eastern edge of the drill pattern, we continue to extend the footprint of the mineralization previously intersected in drill holes WD-24-02, WD-24-04, WD-24-05, WD-24-06 and WD-24-07. WD-26-18 best demonstrates the very high grade, multi-element nature of this deposit. We have some outstanding traditional VMS mineralization. The 11.65m massive sulphide intersection averaged

Analysis, QAQC and Qualified Person
All samples were submitted to ALS Global in Moncton, an independent commercial laboratory, for preparation and assaying (ME-ICP61a four-acid digestion with ICP-AES; Au by fire assay Au-AA23 with AA finish; overlimit Au by gravimetric analysis and overlimit base metals by OG62). ALS runs its own QA/QC protocols including coarse and pulp duplicates. Nine Mile's QAQC program includes regular insertion of CRM standards, duplicates, and blanks with a stringent review of all results; QAQC and data validation were performed and no material errors were observed. Technical information in this news release has been prepared in accordance with NI 43-101 and reviewed and approved by Gary Lohman, B.Sc., P.Geo., VP Exploration and Director, the Company's Qualified Person, who is not independent of the Company.

FAQ
AI-generated questions and answers. How Rhea-AI works. Not financial advice.
What did Nine Mile Metals report from Wedge drill hole WD-26-18?
WD-26-18 intersected 7.13% copper equivalent over 11.65 meters, including 9.93% over 6.70 meters and 10.46% over 4.80 meters. An upper copper stringer zone returned 0.40% copper equivalent over 31.50 meters. The reported intersections are true widths.
How did Nine Mile Metals calculate copper-equivalent grades for WD-26-18?
The calculation combines five metals using August 26, 2026 Kitco prices and an assumed uniform 95% metallurgical recovery. Prices were US$6.52 per pound copper, US$0.85 per pound lead, US$1.84 per pound zinc, US$67.77 per ounce silver and US$4,591.50 per ounce gold. These grades are for comparison only and do not represent recoverable metal.
