Metro One Telecommunications (OTCMKTS: WOWI) has announced the acquisition of Royal App Ltd. for approximately USD 2.4 million in cash and equity, approved by the Lod District Court in Israel. Royal App, known for its artificial intelligence-driven mobile commerce platform, Shelfy, aims to enhance online shopping metrics. To fund this acquisition and working capital, Metro One is raising USD 3.5 million through Simple Agreements for Future Equity (Safes). The acquisition is expected to close by mid-April 2021 and aims to benefit shareholders.
