Sentiment and the balance of points

Rhea-AI Sentiment reads the wording of the document, how positive or negative its language is on a 1 to 5 scale. The balance of points shown with the takes weighs what the document actually discloses, so the two can disagree, for example when a trial that missed its main goal is described in upbeat language.

XMax (XMAX) has authorized a share repurchase program allowing purchases of up to $30 million of its outstanding common stock. Purchases are permitted only at prices below $5.50 per share.

The start date remains undetermined. Before purchases begin, XMax must release results for the fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2026, disclose any material nonpublic information and engage a broker-dealer. The program expires three months after commencement. XMax expects to fund repurchases with existing cash and cash equivalents and make purchases through the open market. The authorization does not require any particular number of shares to be repurchased.

How this balance works

Rhea-AI gives every point it takes from this document a weight. Minor counts 1, Moderate 3 and Major 9, so one Major point outweighs several Minor ones. The bar adds up the weights on each side, and when neither side holds more than 65% of the total the balance reads Mixed.

It reads the document as published, with the same rules for every company, and it does not look at what the market expected or at how the stock traded, so a point can be objectively good on a day the stock falls.

Rhea-AI Sentiment measures something else, the tone of the wording.

rule 10b5-1 regulatory
"purchases under a trading plan intended to satisfy Rule 10b5-1"
Rule 10b5-1 is a regulation that allows company insiders to buy or sell their shares at predetermined times, even if they have access to non-public information. It acts like setting a schedule in advance for transactions, helping prevent accusations of unfair trading. This rule provides a way for insiders to plan trades transparently, giving investors confidence that these transactions are not based on hidden information.
rule 10b-18 regulatory
"in accordance with Rule 10b-18 under the Exchange Act"
Rule 10b-18 is a regulation that sets strict rules for how a company's executives and employees can buy back their own company's stock from the market. It helps ensure that these buybacks happen in a fair and transparent way, reducing the chance of market manipulation. This is important for investors because it offers protection against unfair practices and promotes confidence in the integrity of the stock market.
par value financial
"common stock, par value $0.001 per share"
Par value is the fixed amount printed on a bond or stock that represents its original value when issued. It’s like the face value of a coin or bill—what the issuer promises to pay back or the starting price of a stock—though it often doesn’t change with market prices. It matters because it helps determine certain financial details, like how much the company will pay back at maturity.

Board of Directors authorizes repurchase of up to $30 million of the Company’s common stock

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 03, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- XMax Inc. (NASDAQ: XMAX) (“XMax” or the “Company”), a distributor of contemporary furniture and artificial intelligence software and platform-based service provider, today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized a share repurchase program under which the Company may repurchase up to $30 million in aggregate purchase price of its outstanding common stock, par value $0.001 per share. Shares may be repurchased only at prices below $5.50 per share.

The program will begin on a date to be determined (the “Commencement Date”) after the Company has (i) publicly released its financial results for the fiscal quarter ended September 30, 2026 by press release (“Earnings Release”), (ii) publicly disclosed any material nonpublic information, and (iii) engaged a broker-dealer for the program. No repurchases will be made before the Commencement Date, and the program will expire three months after it.

Repurchases are expected to be made from time to time through open-market purchases, which may include purchases under a trading plan intended to satisfy Rule 10b5-1 under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the “Exchange Act”), and are intended to be made in accordance with Rule 10b-18 under the Exchange Act and other applicable legal requirements.

The timing, manner, price (subject to the $5.50 per share limit) and amount of any repurchases will be determined by the Company’s management based on its evaluation of market conditions, the trading price of the Company’s common stock, liquidity and capital requirements, legal requirements, and other factors. The program does not obligate the Company to repurchase any particular number of shares, and it may be suspended, modified, or discontinued at any time without prior notice. The Company expects to fund repurchases with its existing cash and cash equivalents.
